House's Generic Ti-Fighter

YREKA?!
You must be in the wrong forum, as I believe I am the only Berg fan within a hundred mile radius...
LOL

More progress pics coming soon...

OK, finally got a little bit more progress. Here is a good pic of the servo
mount and the new orientation of the gears for the last time before
they are greased up and shut tight.

And finally, almost a whole axle..!

And the rear motor installed...

And the pair together...

That first scape is gonna hurt.

Those axle look perfect.

where did you find the gears. I am haven a hard time.

Looks like you're around 1oz lighter than a standard housing with CCD tubes and Ti rear shafts on the rear axle. I haven't weighed my front axle to compare it...might have to do that soon.

Well trying to put more custom machining touches on stuff never ceases to
amaze me at how much of a PITA it is... What I thought was going to be a simple
job (and would have been with a belt sander) turned out to be quite the ordeal,
but this is how my Revo rod ends tapered down to the .187 links turned out...

Current weight as pictured:

Front - 18.14 oz
Rear - 13.12 oz

Wow that's pretty light!

Edit. My bully with steel hexs is 13.15 exactly.

Considering your motor is 1.5oz heavier than mine. Those axles are pretty light!

These look weird but cool. Good job.

Here is a stock locker next to the SDS locker

Sure looks awfully similar an RC Bro locker to me. Did Dave guy the design from William or something?

Lookin good Chris. Now I need to come down and beat your $8676873672367168768716397816768713549853265716071387101.58361768367813071396884 rock climber with my pile o poo:lmao:

LOL, just for the record, I know that expensive equipment does not make
you a better driver. I have a LONG way to go to be competitive at the
higher level competitions. I am not expecting this car to do wonderous
anti-gravity gate deterring maneuvers or anything. It may actually hamper
me for a while until I get it figured out. With that being said, here is the
current local level point standings without my awesome new machine:
