2 day Trail event for scalers in Marseilles, IL

That's what vicodin is for! Not to mention those little happy pills make everything more enjoyable. :lmao:

i just honestly prefer a bed & shower when its an option. hotel is more for the girl anyway if it ends up she comes with.

HOW MANY people do we have who are capable and comfortable of driving back into the park? i'm not talking about 4wheeling... just some mild/intermediate trails.

rick? steve?

Yeah, I'll drive the runner wherever it'll take me. I'm not sure if steve is going or not. I don't think so but, if he does, he'll roll in with me.

Do you know if 33's will fit on a stock runner?8)

I am willing; although I dont have real offroad tires either; some weird 'in between'.

And from my reading Rick, not without a suspension lift.

No way...I just barely got 285/75/16's on my truck and it's got a 3" lift. That's 32.8"x11.2". They'll rub every so often too if I'm turning and hit a bump just right.

ditto. wheels cranked it will rub when the suspension compresses. sounds like a fart...

chris i wouldnt expect you to take that new rig out. even if you get traction i dont know if you have enough ground clearance.

i think with me, trey, and maybe rick we should be good. i really would like to get everybody loaded up and take a single trip to wherever our spot ends up being.

i'm excited about the pre-trip this weekend!

my Subi is going to have to stay on the pavement... it's been lowered, I can barley get over Chicago speed bumps

Trey, have you looked into campsites any further?
What do you camp guys think, are we bringing food in or just shopping while down there... or eating out?
After we're done playing, I'd like to sit around a fire and have a few beers...

So, on another note.
What do you guys think about dropping the comp aspect from the weekend?
I'd kind of like to just go down there and have fun... especially since we have to pay $20 to get in. It would kind of suck to stand around all day waiting since we are driving all the way down there and paying to be in the park.
Also, not everyone can make it.

No, I haven't. I was sitting at the airport in Rochester, MN the other day doing that and really haven't looked at it again. I was going to ask the guys at the cliffs this weekend where people usually go.

I don't mind dropping the comp part either if that's what people want to do. I'm fine either way honestly. We're going to have a lot of time to kill though being out there for two full days.
