10x15s, 3 of them.. gonna check hobby stores in a bit. Most of the rest are ok, couple of 5x10s are hosed, but I got some replacements for those.

I wonder if ceramic bearings, even though they are expensive ugh, would stand up better to the abuse... after all they can't rust either.

ax30162 - Pin 1.5x8mm (used with the slipper clutch)
 
with the gcm tcase make sure to red loctite the set screws on the 2 internal gears.

do any of you use the hitec servo programmers? i think its just what i need to keep from lunching servos left and right. u can set overload protection as well as deadband. doing some reading it seems like you can set the deadband wide enough to eliminate servo creep on servo winches.

i think the heyok winch controllers just allow too much room for user error with a high power servo...

yeah thats a nice little winch controller. i see heyok is also making relay controllers now as well.

for my winch servos i think i'm just going to try the pot mod and keep the hitec board intact so i can utilize the overload protection and see if i can tune-out the creep issue by upping the servos deadband. i'm also tired of cracking open the cases to take out the board and waterproof... i think i'll also just dip the whole damn servo in plasti-dip and then cut out the area where the heatsink is.

timmy literally uses up a steering servo and a winch servo just about every 2-3 outings. gonna swap out the spektrum to flysky and start programming the servos like i mentioned and see if that helps.
 
im hoping programming my servos deadband and overload will help me stop burning them up... i'm leary that something with the heyok winch controller is contributing to it as well, so this next wave of servos on timmy, i'm just going to do the pot mod to the servo and program them as well as convert over to flysky rx/tx.
