Trey, where are the vids!
Rick, where are the pics!

i could ask you the same. ;)

hot as balls yesterday, i spent all day in the garage sweating like a whore in church and not getting as much done as i hoped, but i did get a little more tubework done on tinytim and through alot of head scratching i managed to stuff my panhard bar to sit/wrap on top of the axle, which allows me to finally have highsteer. that steering link being so low was killing me...

I'm working on them now. I'm not going to put music to all of them, if I start doing that I'll never get them posted. What I want to know is where are the scores? :flipoff:

Thinking a Blue Grass Stage Truck.

Tried to get the wife to drive me (I am on percocette) but she was adamant that I needed to be sitting up with ice on the knee. I get my stitches out on Wednesday and find out when the next surgery is going to be. I think it was a couple weeks last time to get all the measurements done and to get the parts in. So hopefully a month or so. Also supposed to find out Friday if I am getting laid off. Hopefully, I will be ok for the weekend or at east Saturday.

Just cut off the leg, add a wooden peg leg and be good. Oh and say ARRRRGGGGH! :D

That is actually pretty funny, the guys we play with are in a band called Pirates over 40. Maybe I should do the truck as a stand truck but like a Tiki hut with SOme Margaritaville graphics.

fawking firebird...

take it in this morning to get it smogged, for some reason i cant get it into 2nd gear without grinding at anything above about 2k. it was doing the same thing about a month ago when i took it out for the first time this year.

synchro rings i'm sure... for a car that gets maybe 1k on it a year it seems every damn year there is some sort of gosh damn freaking couple thousand dollar repair bill on something. i have NO desire to drop that transmission out and tear it down or swap it, and i cant bring myself to take it to a normal shop... so speedinc will probably be getting a call here this week.

gonna have a better and more modded t56 put in it since putting a stock one in wouldnt be trying hard enough. damn hopped up t56's start at 2k...

maybe i'll just garage it till next year. it shifts fine if im not on it, but what the hell is the point to have the damn thing if i cant get on it?

Too look cool? Same reason people bought V6 powered Mustangs and shit. :)

any t56 transmission i can find thats done right is just over 2k.

could do it for cheaper, but i see no reason of going thru the hassle just to put another stocker in it that will develop the same problem down the road.

I say fill it up and bleed it out.. Get that old fluid out and replace it with fresh stuff. You may have developed air pockets or leaks? Does the pedal feel soft? Its cheap to do. May be worth a shot.

all brand new hydraulics about 500 miles ago. ls7 clutch & master/slave, ls2 aluminum flywheel. it could be the fluid level i guess. certainly feels like the clutch just isnt going down far enough.

too many toys... i wouldnt mind dropping the trans to get rebuilt and while i'm under there some longtubes and a fresh catback, but there just isnt enough time to do all that and stay on top of my other interests.

1st world problems right? 8)

Stop tryin to change gears at 2k.. Thats a little high to be idle but, damn if that ain't 15% throttle input. Step on it!!"thumbsup"

no its anything above 2k or around there somewhere.

in other words, i cant bang shifts in it while bouncing the limiter. ;)

i really REALLY dont want to jack that thing up and swap the transmission, but at least its not my daily rig.

I hear that. My brother just did a clutch on his car and I didn't even want to look at it.. I've had move around so many damn Engine & drivetrain components.. Ughh.

If its a 1/10 the size, its easier.

Looks like I have been ripped off through the Classifieds for the first time. Bought a TF Chassis 8 days ago, seller kept saying he was having trouble getting it from his brothers, now he is just not logging on. Sent him an email and tomorrow at noon I will file a PayPal claim. Little fker is probably broke anyway and I won't be able to get anything.
