Hi guys , Ok I just got in to the rock scene after watching some videos on youtube, well I got me a Scx10 honco used well the guy made a homemade liftkit to fit the 2.2 on it and put a homemade 4 link on the front suspenction( never said I could spell ) well I have been out a couple of times and the links fell off, he never put lock tite on them, so what im asking is the 4 link better then stock or should I put the stock stuff back on it . It crawls great now just dont know how its stock

thank you for the info, I really like the truck to bad my wife claimed it for her self , so I need to get one for myself

There is also the Axial plastic 4-link truss that comes with the RTR spare parts bag. I got a set via the classifieds for 3 bucks.

You can also check the RPP salvage yard for the SCX10 Spare Parts bag.

^ that. I've beat on the stock axial plastic one for awhile now without issue, on a couple different toy trucks now.

Do you have a pic of your stock 4 link setup installed? I saw the extra arms in my kit, but don't recall seeing a truss, or how to on installing the plastic arms.

I can get close up shots when I get home later if needed, the links are not stock. The pics in the axial blog are far better than I can get anyway

Thanks... I do see the truss listed on the parts tree now. I'll have to check my kit when I get home. Will these plastic control arms not work for uppers?

Last night I converted the rear 3 link over to 4 link using the stock arms that I posted before. I used the shorter of the plastic arms as uppers, and kept the aluminum lowers. It angled the axle a bit more than desired, but it works just fine until I get some shorter aluminum uppers...

Yeah thats true... I guess it's like the angled shims I put between my axle and leaf on my 1:1 to make the driveline less likely to bind
