Another Jeep build..this time a TJ

Looks great! Man either you are ridiculously good at finding the perfect lines or never take them into tight areas. not a single scratch on either rig!

Sick little JEEP."thumbsup"

Uh Why the hell did i sell this? Damn it, it looks right at home!

Ya thats the trouble i had with them. I also saw that you has the preload collar tightened down so thats why i said the front looks stiff. I cant believe what you did to it though! As soon as i heal up, im building another TJ or LJ! Try the stompers and im sure youll make that climb!

Thank you. Yeah your right, those tires are stiff. I'm still tuning the shocks to get them right, but it was the tires that gave up. I'm thinking vent holes and some CI foams might help. And yes I'll give the stompers a go next time.

Hurry and heal, I wanna see how bad ass your next jeep will be.

Well, after drooling over this truck for a while I've decided I need to build something for myself with this as inspiration. Very cool build. I hope mine turns out half as cool. "thumbsup"

I'm going to start with a tamiya hardtop body and work on tube fenders and interior roll cage. Also gonna use a trailfinder2 chassis, 2spd trans & case. I'll have to figure out axles & suspension. Those K44's are wallet busters! We'll see. Thanks for the inspiration! ;-)

Thanks Die-Laughing, I'm very glad I could inspire you. Yes you are right, the K44's are wallet busters but they fit this rig so well. I betcha ser3100's new jeep is gonna make this one look like a turd though. Get to building, I wanna see more TJ's.

I took this rig to the RCC Nationals, I got some pics.

What moron would only bring scale trucks to the nations biggest 2.2 comp? Me of course. I hope I didnt get in anyone's way today!

Oh yeah! I used the slider to pivot the rig on a few tight turns. It did its job superbly but suffered paint chips. Thanks E!

with a driver in this rig i would mistake it for a 1:1 in every one of those nationals pics

Thats very true, but I can't seem to get into the scale driver doll thing, maybe one day:mrgreen:.

This thing is effin sick dude!

Thanks man, ,nice to see you back. "thumbsup"

Really excellent build. Wana send it my way now?

Thank you BRONCO, but its gonna stay here for a good while8).
