TCB's DD XR-10

I'm glad you finally made the change to a MOA Mike :) finally giving me bit of competition eh! Going to be interesting to see how things pan out for the rest of the year now you got all my secret tuning mods hehe

BTW I've got a really cool XR10 feature I've been working on but I'm starting to think I should stop making... Don't want to give you the edge on beating me again eh ;)

Dan I think your posting in the wrong section again

Ben, please leave it to ME or the mods to police my build threads.

If you had a problem with a post, you should have adhered to YOUR suggestion to take it to PM.

Now, back on the topic of my build

Got a courier delivery today 8)

Nice cans mike:mrgreen:. Care to share some specs on them?

Josh
Hi Josh,

Here's the info direct from the man:
EddieO said:
If memory serves correct (I am not at home to look).

Stubby Can
HHK-T 35t Stubby Arm ( I can't remember if I drill or epoxy balanced them, if you see no green epoxy on the bottom of either arm, they are drilled. If the arms were really close, I drill them to keep the weight down.).
Ceramics
Team Extra Firm Springs
Spring Insulation
729 Brushes
Full Lightweight endbell parts and mods.

All the usual EddieO tricks used during assembly and such.

Later EddieO

95g total weight savings over my previous Apocalypse motors and a wee bit of extra wheel speed

Looking forward to getting these out on the rocks.

Cheers,
Mike.

Hi Everyone,

Here's a quick video from our last comp.

The 2nd and 3rd courses caught out most people with couple of tough gates.

The DD managed to complete all 3 and take the win for the day.

<iframe src="http://player.vimeo.com/video/65300148?title=0&byline=0&portrait=0" width="1024" height="768" frameborder="0" webkitAllowFullScreen mozallowfullscreen allowFullScreen></iframe> <p><a href="http://vimeo.com/65300148">TCB's DD at Clovelly Comp</a> from <a href="http://vimeo.com/user3657255">Michael Blair</a> on <a href="http://vimeo.com">Vimeo</a>.</p>

But he's gotta meet the 3" minimum height. That's why he's got the body mounted loose in the back with a spring that holds it down, but allows it to move around as needed.

Hi everyone,

I'm very pleased to announce that the DD and myself took out the cANZ PRO Class National Titles in Australia over the weekend.

The rig just flat out worked!

There are still a few minor things I want to tweak to make this thing totally handle how I want, but obviously it's working extremely well already.

Nice driving! Looked like a good technical course that required quite a bit of patience in several areas 8)

Congratulations again Mike, your driving was spot on all weekend, and the rig just flat out worked everywhere you pointed it. Well done, you earned it. Just gotta figure out how to catch you now.
