BOOSTED's 2014 build The 5th Dimension: MKII begins:pg 11

Man. 5D has some fruity "team drivers":ror:

Curious to know what kind of GC your tuck has a full droop out? I thi k I'm nearly 3.5"! So I plan on international limiting by about 5mm to get it closer to 3" at full droop. If I don't limit them internally I may try the shorter shock shaft options I found.

Anyways, carry on with this beard thread. Wait; I mean build thread. No, I mean adult friend finder ad.

Got our local comp coming up Saturday and needed to fab a battery mount, so I cut some aluminum and used one od the dlux plastic gear covers.

Also went for a crawl the other day and after limiting my shocks
7mm internally
5mm externally
Mini t greens rear
Mini t silvers for t

This this is crawling great! Will get a few pics with link placements etc.

Cool to see a different take.

Do you not have the plastic battery part or you like the mount running length wise for some reason?

I have the plastic piece, but my front lower links are just old single bend CDW chump sticks with an of of about 7-8mm it makes it very tight in there. I'm running thunder power 850's and I have to give the battery a little shove to sit right in there.

I've been chatting with Marc, and even with as much stuff as he has going on he's be very interested in getting these links fixed up. As soon as he does I will be running the plastic piece. Until then I just needed a spot that wasn't in the chassis to get the battery mounted

Ah, that makes sense and a good idea. I know youre not the only one running into clearance issues. I also think links are the "proper" answer but it would be cool to have a mount such as that

Ya I wanted it when he first put it up for sale. Not many around anymore and thing is a billy goat. It's fun to drive and except for lack of steering it does exceptionally well"thumbsup"

Dremmel the hubs and knuckles and you should be able to get more steering. IIRC, that is all TC3 parts.

You gotta leave the body on that truck....there are some old ass comp stickers on it! I see a Crawlapalooza 2009 tech sticker and a Rocksmith Engineering sticker.....sweet!!

Ok so before you watch this:

It includes NO editing just some tunes, JD and I hit the rocks the other day before I had to jam to work and what went from our regular running of courses just turned into shooting the shit and blasting through a course with an "I don't give a shi...." Pace. I uploading and shot this with my phone, so it's nothing spectacular next video will have better shots of what the chassis will actually do. It surprises me more and more each time I drive it.
I ended up having to snip the last half of the vid as it was too long to upload on the phone.
