Have to finish the panels and a few odds and ends. I switched to a single speed gearbox, but have FWS, 4WS, RWS, Crab, plus winch (via the relay winch).
 
Have the side panels all figured out and cut in new lexan. Have to braze on four more mounting points for the body, then its off to get blasted so I can paint it.
 
Got the chassis back from being blasted... dang it looks good! May even just clear coat it and be done!!

So I got the chassis painted. I have also got the skins together and painted. So now just a matter of putting it together this week and she should be ready to rock-n-roll.

I am switch from a set of bucket lights to a Vanquish lightbar. Decided to go with a bit more 'modern' look, not to mention it cuts down on the # of wires I have to route through the chassis by one, so I made need to tweak my electronics very so slightly.
 
Created a mount for the new Vanquish light bar; basically allows me to mount the light bar to the mounts I had brazed on for the light buckets.

Light bar is feed directly off the battery for 11.1v so here is the updated wiring diagram.

Crazy wiring job! I could only hope I have the courage to wire up such a beast. Great job my man!

yeah, it's a bit crazy... tried to keep it as clean as possible, eh, you can see the front-end wiring. Jammed in there is the servo, the BEC for the servo, the winch controller which is feed off of the battery directly, the winch servo, and the light wiring for the 4 front led lights.

I tried to bundle as many of the connectors together as possible so that it became more of a plug-n-play system as opposed to remembering where every wire attached to.

As you can see in the image, I used colored electrical tape to, usually two colors per wire, to identify the major wires and what the plugged into. This system was used on both sides of the connectors.

With exception of wires coming off some parts, such as the servos and BEC, I tried to make the wires only as long as possible. But wasn't quite sure I wanted to do the same off the servos and BEC because once you cut them short there is no really going back.
 
I updated the axles to use the Dinky RC's Wraith Dinky Link front (Wraith Dinky Link (F)) and rear (Wraith Dinky Link (R)) in replacement for the Vanquish parts I had.

To me this is a cleaner look when running CMS (especially when its CMS on both ends), and I was able to move the 3 link axle mount down slightly lower to provide better clearance. They also attach more solidly than the stock wraith or vanquish (or similar parts) as they are tied in with the shock/lower link mounts.

Inside bearing destroyed itself and in the process gouged out the plastic allowing the inside bearing slop, so time for a new set of axles.

Replaced the Wraith's front axle to repair the damage. Used a bearing on the outside of the pinion, and a oilite bushing on the inside.
