Szczerba's #3744 Jeepspeed Cherokee

Should be getting the body back from JWalker Designs this week.

I screwed up the first body by trimming it out before the chassis was 100% done. Had to order another one to correct some of trimming mistakes.

you just made me nervous about trimming my body that just arrived yesterday lol

I cut the bottom of the doors too short before I finished the tube work. Just didnt like the way it looked. Left more on the second body that Jwalker is working on.

See pic. I wont be using this body but went ahead and painted and stickered it up for fun.

Trailing arms, Now you tell me.

It's a mix between the 1700 and 3700 Jeepspeed classes. This one will be able to hit the trail or track.

Yeah, I can see the influences on classification...

Or build yourself some sweet leafpacks!

im sure a man of your fab skills doesnt need my help, but id like to put in my 2c :P

i had to widen my chassis rails, i used a pivot ball and longer screw on each side of the rear crossmember. TF2 leafs bolt to the screw holes on the axle and i sacrificed my rear bumper mount for the shackle bolt. The front mounts are only held using one bolt and superglue.

Those light buckets look good with the grill, still need to get around to mounting mine up. Did you just use shoegoo? I hadn't thought of fitting them to the grill, I was going to be doing it to the body

The Tamiya lightbuckets snugly fit into the grill, without any adhesive. Guy that made the grill built them around the light buckets.
I will probably E6000 glue them to the grill and screw the grill into the body with the 4 screws.

That rig looks like it is ready for some Barstow Jeepspeed action . Excellent color combo on the body .....

Thanks. Ive drove it around a bit and it's on rails. Handles great and just under 8lbs RTR with a 2200mah 3S lipo. Rear sway bar really helps keep it under control and the RPM Dual Rate shock pistons in the big bore are the best setup I have run to date.

Shout out to these RCC vendors. Got alot of parts from these businesses.
