yeah just do it this guys way

Mach 3 once a week. I'm lazy, and I like the crackhead to cleancut transition. Keeps people guessing.

Tried electrics, hated them all. Chewed me up and still had to touch up with a regular razor.

X2"thumbsup" although I use the 4 blade fusion.

Manual for me. Always did use a razor. Now my wife says if I ever want any lovin, gotta keep up with the razor :D

never liked electric razors, they never seem to get as close as i want

personally im partial to the gillette fusion but whenever i have time or im going out for a special occasion i like to use hot lather and an old school straight edge

i have a phillips that i received for christmas. it has a pop up trimmer on the back. the first shave was uncomfortable but then it wasn't bad. gets as close as my razors did

I usually have a 5 o'clock shadow before I finish my oatmeal in the morning so I usually use an electric for ease. I usually have to hit it with the electric clippers first though  I think they all suck ass though, had all of them from the $250 to the $25. They all suck equally.

If I want to actually look nice and get a good shave then I use a single blade razor.

x2 except that I've been using Gillette Mach3 for years and the dang blades get expensive after awhile. I can't see more than 3 blades per cartridge really doing a better job, they just charge out the azz for them! I usually buy 50 pack at Costco and last about one year.
Gillette MACH3® Razor| Gillette USA

I use them with Trader Joe's natural Honey Mango Cream Shave, works great and no chemicals. Used cheapo Barbasol before that, but the TJ's works better and one tube lasts a long time for me, only need a little bit lathered up with warm water. Best shave is always in the shower, second best is right out of the shower and shave without drying my face. :)

I've thougt about using good old single edge safety razor, what's a good brand? Where do you buy them, do they work well, cut yourself more or less?

Electric, Norelco all the way. I still have my dad's from the early 80's that works just fine. I have a "newer" one from the early 2000's that I'm using currently.

x2, my beard is very thick and yes I could shave twice per day but that won't happen.

BRAUN

you need to buy a quality foil. Anything with 3 circles is absolute crap and will eat your face. I have a beard now but before i would shave almost daily with my braun and then touch up my neck quickly with a razor. My face was smooooth and had no irritation whatsoever. The new pulsonic is supposed to be incredible. I have an older one (ran me about $150) and it still works great.

Even expensive Braun kinda slow, not close enough shave either for me.

I just a gillette pro glide? Something like that? lol Only because I got a few in the mail for free for idk what reason otherwise I would just use the super cheap ones...

Gillette Atra Plus and Barbasol cream. I've had my metal handle for close to 20 years. I shave twice a week and a 10-pack of blades lasts me at least a year. This last pack I bought the Walgreen's house brand and can't wait for them to run out. Half the price, but they don't seem as sharp, even new, as a week old OG blade.
I tried the 3 and four blade disposables before and I hate them. It felt like my face was going to get pulled off. Very uncomfortable.

I've only gotten lazier since '09. Just knock it down with the clippers once a month!
