Axial finally released the 2-speed - AX31181

I like that they included enough bearings for a tranny rebuild.

..cuz they know the Yeti has been out long enough that we all likely need them.
Hahaha!

For those who already have three SSD kit, you can use the axial kit's pivot arm linkage. All the pieces are found in parts tree # AX31183 ...only $12

That was my plan also the servo mount flows with the chassis more. Not that it matters to most.

I want that servo horn too. Looks like they aren't releasing it as a parts tree though.

Ordered one & a new kit, since they are $279 now. I feel like Axial is about to discontinue the Yeti, or introduce an improved kit once Tower starts dropping prices.

What is the benefit in running a micro servo for shifting rather than a standard one? I've been looking and most micro servos don't meet the minimum torque requirement of 80 oz in specified by Axial.

Really a micro? I can't see that being a good idea. I assumed it was mini.

Interesting. I wanted to do it for a smaller servo and lighter but idk now even though it would be even lighter now.

I think Just a cheap normal servo should work fine it's only shifting about 1/2" throw,if that.Just make sure to use a servo saver and make sure the end points are set right, and it's not like the servo working hard all the time like the steering servo..."thumbsup"
That's what i used...
