ProModeler Servo: 420oz, billet case, o-ringed, $79

Just sent him an email and John got right back to me. I will be picking up one for my winter rebuild of my Class 2."thumbsup"

I just got mine too! It was ordered on Saturday delivered today. I gotta throw a bone to the USPS - 3 days from FL to HI is damn good.

This thing looks awesome! I can't wait to get home and install it.

EDIT: This arrived at the perfect time too. Last night my HS-7955 started oscillating for 5-10 seconds before centering. Looks like yet another repair is in order. Good Grief!

Way to slander a well respected name all the while looking like you're riding this company's jock.

Especially all but a day after you got the thing. HiTec's track record has a history. Try to at least give this new thing some time before you say things like that maybe.

I have have zero to do with HiTec mate. I do know that over the 11 years I've been here , HiTec is top rated, outlasting the likes of Futaba, JR, and all that other stuff. Seems like you got shiny new toy syndrome.

And no HiTec doesn't sponsor this site, so try again.

Na just try and support the little guy where I can, the engineer in me spots a better product which leads me to spend my hard earned.

I got the servo installed in my Wraith and ran a pack through it this evening. It's working great - plenty of torque, centers with authority and is whisper quiet. So much so that I can no longer set the endpoints by ear. Only time will tell if this one holds up better than the ones I've been running, but I am optimistic thus far. "thumbsup"

Yes, it should fit the stock servo plate. I've got a DCW DeWanger which is the same width as stock. I am going to need a thinner servo horn though to fully clear the bumper (not stock either). It's only a couple mm larger than the HS-795x.

Just read the whole thread..

I would like to see the "ti coated Hitec gears" info as well..

Cause I had a output bearing come apart and the balls roll thru the gears, leaving "ant trails" thru the teeth of the gears..
I replaced the bearing and rocked that servo for another year or so, then sold it in a scaler. That never had any issues..

No matter the difference of motor, case, or gears: I see it fitting that Hitec is what Ever servo is compared against.. It speaks Highly of Hitec! [emoji106]

A warranty and customer service, is exactly why, to me, I buy Hitec.
Not 1yr warranty, but 3 yrs! And they will fix a servo from 10yrs ago, of you have a problem with it.
That's worth Every penny of my money!

Knowing I Only have to buy 1 servo per rig, for the Life of my abuse put on it.. Is priceless!

OK, rant over...

Now, to the servo at hand..
Looks great! Specs are on point with what We need and would expect for our rigs...

I like seeing the communication from the owner and what he is saying.
Also the effort he has put into the servo, changes, upgrades, etc.

Two things I would like to see..
1. Real life testing and prolonged use..
2. John creating a account here on RCC and chiming in on his own. (I understand he is most likely busy, but why not share his info directly with all of us...) :)
