Quarry Creeper
I took mine out to run a little before dark. It crawls over my rock pile with ease even with damp rocks. My SCX10 struggles with wet rocks. The suspension movement is really cool to watch. The plastic links on this rig are much better than the ones I had on my SCX10. These don't flex near as much. I am actually impressed with the strength of the trailing arms. They really don't flex much at this point. I am going to run them until they start flexing. I'm sure I will replace them with Vanquish parts later on.
My only gripe is my 5 year old can outrun it. That brushed 35t is SLOWWWWW!! I am really disappointed in how slow this rig is. So, I know what I'm spending my Christmas/birthday money on. I am thinking that I have narrowed my motor/esc choice to a Castle Mamba Max Pro with a Tekin PRO4 Brushless 3300kV Motor. I'm hoping it will give some good jumping/bashing speed and good crawling speed. Do you think that is a good choice?
Overall, I'm very happy with my Axial RR10 Bomber. I don't regret it at all. In fact, I will purchase another one next year for the kids.
