Any experience with sensored Castle motors?

I run a hw sct pro with a smc 1900kv and I was running sensored untill the sensor wire broke and the esc freaked out so I just unplugged it from the motor and ran it. It's running fine. No cogging or spudering/shaking so I didn't bother to get a new sensor wire. I can crawl and get the wheels to slowing spin without any cogging. I would put a new wire but don't see a point rite now. I will say when I had same set up in my buggy and I was racing and the wire broke I noticed rite away. I didn't have the response to pull the front up on a nose dive over the triple..

As you just found out, not all sensorless products are equal. Some cog a ton. Others are smooth.

Just the other day I drove my Castle SCT system in my AX10 monster truck back to back with my RC Gear Shop motor and ESC in my SMT10. The Castle cogged like an old school sensorless system. The RC Gear Shop system was really smooth. I really need to take a video showing this.

I assume that the SCT system you were using was sensorless?
