Rate the last movie you watched

Okay, i saw it. No not the clown movie.

INFINITY WAR.

holy smokes...

Everything i said in my last post... spot on
Marvel is absolutely positively without a shadow of a doubt...

KILLIN THE GAME!!!!!!!

for me, the best comparison wojld be to call tbis the marvel equivolent of star wars the empire strikes back. (Reminds me i need to watch kevin smiths review on youtube later)

This ends with the good guys really down for the count. I love this cliff hanger. You know its not over.

And my son didnt cry, or if he did i couldnt tell but i suspect he was holding it in, because i was.
If you have seen it, you know the scene. When he said "i dont wanna go!" Omg im misty just typing it.

I mean, in a word?

MARVELOUS.

10/10
Yeah im a fanboy but jeez... 10 years in the making this thing is a masterpiece.

And if you dont understand the end credit scene, shoot me a pm i got ya covered ;)

For real...I saw it three times, got misty at all of them...I’m such a baby. But there was also tears of joy for the masterpiece that it is.

yes gents, YES.

i still choke up when i see... "that character" i'm quite a marvel nerd so i have tons of figures and t-shirts, including... "that character" so its almost unavoidable. I'm such a sap lol my wife says "OMG you are ridiculous its just a movie!"

i'll be sure to remind her next time she watches the notebook lol

i still need to watch some youtube reviews. kevin smith's review of the last jedi was so great, i cant wait to see what he says about infinity war.

Solo - I liked it, it was entertaining.

The Breed - if you like cheesy awesomely bad B movies give it a watch. Horribly predictable, but most B movies are :lmao:

Infinity War was the last movie I saw, and it was amazing. I managed to avoid spoilers before seeing it somehow and am glad I did. I wont spoil it here either, its worth the ticket price definitely!

Deadpool 2.
Really really really wanted to stay allllll the way to the end of the credits, but... Preggers uncomfortable wife with full bladder... I saw the mid credits with the fixed teleporter. But I know there was more.
Anyway movie was as awesome as I hoped. The legs hahahahaha!!! Easily best scene.
8/10 because... Well its still weird to me that wade gets the girl.
I did like how tortured he was. That really nailed wade at his core. Very accurate. And the wolvie comeos hahaha oh man so good! Brolin was great as well as zazzie. Bring on xforce with psylocke and warpath!!!
(And can somebody PLEASE make 6 inch action figures from this franchise!?!?!)

The Incredibles 2
Oh man what a treat!!! Honestly enjoyed this more than deadpool. Partly because I watched with my whole family. Also because... JACK JACK!!! omg that little guy was awesome!
Instantly one of my favorite pixar films. Top 5 easily.
9/10

I loved Incredibles 2 as well, such a good movie and Jack Jack was def my favorite part. I also really liked that it had women at the forefront of the story, on both sides. Not just another super hero movie where a male that can’t get injured and can lift up a tank with his bare hands saves the day. The short at the beginning of the movie (first from Pixar which was directed by a female) was also great.

Three thumbs up from me. "thumbsup" "thumbsup" "thumbsup"

Finally got around to watching Inception, and I gotta say it was pretty interesting. Good special effects, but a very convoluted story that was slightly hard to follow, and the ending was a stiff kick to the crotch.

oh yeah what was that one called... the short... about the dumpling that grew up. yeah, pretty well done. i'd be a liar if i said i didn't get choked up a couple times. bao? yep. Bao.
i also like how the incredibles 2 had that little message about "hey, sometimes you don't go with brute force, elastigirl can do it with finesse." and mr incredible's reactions to everything were CLASSIC haha seriously Pixar knocked it out of the park with this one. well worth the wait!
(also really looking forward to wreck it ralph 2 and lego movie 2)

*also worth mentioning i need to finish watching Ready Player One. i fell asleep after 30 min but only because i started watching at 11pm lol so far its GREAT!!!

Solid takeaways Shinchu, and yes Bao tugs at the heart strings. They did a great job capturing the desperation and conflict she was experiencing.

I recently finished reading Ready Player One and can’t wait to snag the 4K disc to watch at home. Absolutely loved the book.

Incredibles 2. It was awesome. Haul the family to see it.

Be prepared for it to not be like the book. They threw it in a blender and added a few things. It was a great movie, but not 100% like the book.

but isn't that true about 90% of book-to-movie adaptations? "oh, the book is way better" - every bookworm about every movie adaptation (i don't use bookworm as an insult, i love books)

only thing i saw that was CLOSE to spot-on for the movie was watchmen. but even that was only accurate until the end of the movie. i wont spoil it but if you read it and watched it, HUGE difference at the end. same result, but the method was different. still one of my favorites of all time. both the book and the film.

btw now i'm seeing all the (as expected) articles about "incredibles 2 another feminist tool of the entertainment industry" or "Disney at it again..." etc... jeez can we just watch a good movie?!

Cant really explain without ruining the movie, but challenges are not same, one was completely made up for the movie. How Og fits in is different. Basement is not a thing..

but like I said, not same, but good in its own way.
