On the SMT10 what body/shell size is best fitting? JS have many bodies but not all show the size, only 1/10th.
Some that show a size are 12 and 12.25 inch wide and 11,12 and 13 long.
will be Using 2.6 by 3.6 wheels and tyres

If you are running the stock wheelbase and 2.6 wheels/tires, I would say the 13 inch wheelbase bodies look like the right size. I picked up the Jconcepts snoop nose Chevy for mine and it looks proportional and lines up well with the wheels.

My friend and I are both building SMT10's, both of us got the 1993 Ford's from JConcepts with the 13" wheelbase. He's finished his and it looks amazing. The roll cage fits a bit wonky under the single cab. I've ordered an extended cab version to try out as well.

I bought the same extended cab body. My truck does not have a cage though. The wheelbase for the body is spot-on

I’m loving the look of this extended cab body in person. I think I’ll not be installing the racer back though. Maybe a visor later, but this shell is so well proportioned by itself.

For everyone else though attempting to mount a flat bed body to this cage: AXI31588 is a set of offset body posts by Axial. I’ve ordered them and will let everyone know how it goes.

If you’re looking for body posts that have the hole for the clip drilled so that the clip goes perpendicular to the length of the body (in case your post location is very close to the windshield), the post set for an Element Enduro fit in the axial mounts just fine and will turn the clip ninety degrees. They are ASC42009.

For a stock SMT-10 wheelbase, any J-Concept's body with the 13" wheelbase looks good. Its a bit shorter, but still looks 'right'.
