So here are some of my Diaz Chassis highlift pictures. I got it about a week ago. First thing I did was take out the highlift tranny and put in an R2, only now its so light that the leaf springs don't work as well. I'm working on getting a Hard body for it so that should help with weight though

Any opinions on using a scissor type link for the shackles? I was thinking it would give it more articulation and should be really easy to do. Also I have been having a problem with the shakles flipping around the wrong direction. I would guess it has to do with the placement of them.

do the "chino mod" to the spring eyelets thatll help it flex "thumbsup"
I think I will do that, thanks for the tip"thumbsup" I'm a little worried though, one of the springs just broke and I don't know what I could have done to break it. I can only guess its that the shackle flipped around and stressed it too much. Luckily I have a spare, hopefully it won't happen again.

Does this have the diaz leafs? or or stock high lift leafs? if it has diaz, you shouldnt really need to tapper them. If its a diaz, where did it break? I broke 2 of mine recently, but they are on the Trekker which is a tank and I was beating the snot out of it

They are Diaz leafs, I broke the front about 3/4" from the front mount. Its pretty light, I guess I might have just had a bad one? No biggy, sh*t happens.

So I shouldn't tapper them, huh? It looks like there is room to but maybe I will hold off.

Just curious as to why you dropped the tranny down so low?
I might raise it but the way I mounted it it kind of ended up there. I just used tlt servo mounts and a aluminum plate above them that I mounted the tranny to. It hasn't been much of an issue yet. Its higher than the picture leads on to be, maybe 2 3/8". I'm not at home but I will measure it tonight.

The Diaz leafs are the poop!

I did the Chino mod and it freed up the leafs a bunch. What hardbody are

you looking at?

I want to probably do a flat bed something. I would like to do a Toyota, Chevy or a Dodge since the whole Ford thing has been done a lot. I'll see what pops up. I am probably going to have to pony up for a bruiser cab here is some of my stuff sells.

Like these with roll up windows and all

Hey Zach you could mount it like this. It will make it just a little wider but all you have to do is adjust your leaf spring hangers to the outside or inside (can not remember) of the chassis. The rc crawler member was @tw!ll I think that is what he did it was in the 1.9 or 2.2 scale section about 2 months ago maybe a little sooner NICE TRUCK "thumbsup"
