Well its here, gass is so expensive that I am now starting to make lifestyle changes. Well not as high as other states 3.25(lowest grade) is still a lot. I drive a wrangler with a mild lift and only get 12mpg on a good day. I've been thinking about gettin a motorcycle, but that still dosent solve the solution(winter, rain) and is kinda dangerous. I cant afford a decent car so I guess im stuck driving the jeep(which isnt bad i just want to travel over 65mph once and a while).

What are u guys doing to save on gass?

in california im paying over $3.65 for lowest grade only making 17-18 in my stock 4 cylinder yj, gas prices are crazy

Huh

I purchased a so so 93 accord to help with prices, I drive a stock F-150 that gets 10 mpg, PERIOD. ON road OFF road loaded empty. Could be the lead foot I inhereted (DAMN GENETICS).

I prefer putting miles on the Damn cheapo car anywho

I drive my Dodge to save GASS. I've not had to stop for gas once since I bought the thing:lol: averaging 20-22 mpg is a nice thing, and I can get that running 80 mph:flipoff:

I wouldn't worry about the prices.....they are cheap compared to what they'll be next year. They ain't gonna get any better, forget that idea:lol:

Parked my full size chevy for awhile (14 mpg) and for now using my wrangler with a 4 cylinder and 35" tires, gets 20 mpg, go figure, guess the lower axle gearing paid off. Also have a motorcycle for nice days, have to like 65-70 mpg :)

I've been carpooling with the wife. driving 1 car that get 25 mpg instead of 2... but even then It is seriously messing with my budget. since it was under $2 a gallon only a few months ago.

I commute 100 miles a day for work. I parked my Dakota (16-18 mpg, depending on how many people need to be passed) and bought a Nissan Altima to put the miles on (32 mpg all day long). Even in Feburary when I bought it, it was basically paying for itself in gas savings. I haven't done the calculations with current prices, but I'm sure I'm coming out ahead.

We traded in my wife's 4x4 Toyota TRD for a 07 VW bug.

My big *** Crew cab 4x4 is a hog, I haven't been going to GTGs as often to try and save money w/ gas this high!

It sucks!

Meanwhile the oil companies report RECORD profits AGAIN!
