Gas prices WTF!!!

$3.57 Regular
3.67 Plus
3.77 Super

Thats the prices here in Kauai, Hawaii:twisted:

It's $3.37 for regular here in Mesquite. I try to plan trips to the store and errands on the way to or back from work. I've also locked my lead foot in the trunk.

I’m going to convert my Suburban to electric. I've rounded up every 24 deg stock motor , speed control and 7.2 v battery I can get my hands on. It will be the mother of all conversions. Muhhaaahhhaaaaaaa…. Hick…. Hhaaahhaaa… Burp…

I sold my 02 TJ and bought an 06 VW Passat. Has the 2.0T, which gives me about 35mpg highway and 28-26 city. Nice days I will ride my Hayabusa, but it is just for fun, it actually gets about the same and or worse mileage then my car :D (I like to go fast).

Oh yeah, gas is around 3.19 here regular but I put premium in everything and that is about 3.40 or 3.50. The passat will knock if you don't use the higher octane and you will pull a check engine light everytime.

I have several 4x4 trucks ,'93 z71 6" lift ,35x15.50 baja claws ,10 mph ,sits in yard for sale (see avatar), '02 2500 dura-max crew 4x4 pretty much just used to pull camper ,or pick up stuff 19 mph ,but my daily is '05 jetta tdi wagen, 40mph city-50mph highway , with my leadfoot

I traded for a '07 Civic Si. It's roughly 50 miles a week driving to work, but my girlfriend lives 150 miles away.... that gets expensive!!!:-(

If I recall correctly it's $3.37 here and I get 19-20 mpg in my '84 Chevy Suburban, 6'' lift with 35's and hauling a 30' trailer...........gotta love the 6.2 diesel

Did you get rid of your Dodge?

You got it made on the going to work mileage. I run roughly 350 or better to and from work......a week.

its 2.89 tonight here in south texas, my 85 K5 gets roughly 12 mpg at 70mph. and yes i wish i had a 6.2. with 4.56 and 35s, my truck is kinda fast and its fun to chirp the tires.

So you just drive slow to save gas I guess :D

You should get one you don't have to pay each time you see her then.

i bought a KIA Spectra 32 mph.
It helps!

You drive slow too.

I get about 22mpg in my 99 cummins 5 speed. But I drive like my grandma 95% of the time. The thing I hate is that it still smokes with the box on "1". I just hate trying to conserve fuel and watching it literally blow away.

i also saw a news piece on NBC news last week, there hasn't been a new oil refinery built in the us in over 30 years.

i believe the segment also said the the US uses 22 million barrels of oil a day, and current domestic refineries can supposedly only handle production of 17 million per day.

and then after the news report gave out that little nugget of info, an oil industry rep said that it is not "economically feasable" to build a couple more refineries...

yeah, that segment really got me upset...
