Gas prices WTF!!!

If you have to look at your keyboard to type you need to get with the computer era, take some keyboarding classes.

I drive the dime, I can drive to school all week on half a tank of gas. "thumbsup"

Hey ,
when i was in high school ,they said I didn't need to know how to type , girls did ,and computers were a fad ,of no real use . You know the big language then was basic !
And yes I do look at the keys ,I have taken classes , but my fingers get in the way:flipoff:

Gas is $3.29 or so here in Springfield, Mo...I have a 04 Durango with a Hemi. gets 17-22mpg. But the wife got it since she doesn't work and stays at home with the kids. I drive a 04 Monte Carlo... Not sure what it gets. But a hell of alot better then the Hemi. I drive about 70 miles a day for work. All Highway.

I drive 110 miles round trip every day for work... Drive an 06 sonata that gets decent gas mileage but still pay over 400 a month in gas. "thumbsup"

$3.19 here!!!! Gas was $1.87 when I was visiting JIA in January down at Augusta. What gets me is the truckers have not boycoted fuel prices like they did years ago when gas got high back in the day. If EVERYONE stopped driving, stayed home a few days totally, not working, not buying food or anything. Sure you have to eat but prepare/ stock up ahead of time. For just a few days maybe it would make a point. Cut into the pockets of all businesses as the oil companies are cutting into ours. Say a 3 day sick out or something. I'm not against our country but I think we are getting the shaft!!!

I totally agree, here is an email I recieved and it's unbelievable how much $ they would lose for just one day of no one pumping gas.
...in April 1997, there was a "gas out" conducted nationwide in protest of gas prices. Gasoline prices dropped 30 cents a gallon overnight.

On May 15th 2007, all internet users are to not go to a gas station in protest of high gas prices. Gas is now over $3.00 a gallon in most places.

There are 73,000,000+ American members currently on the internet network, and the average car takes about 30 to 50 dollars to fill up.

If all users did not go to the pump on the 15th, it would take
$2,292,000,000. 00 (that's almost 3 BILLION) out of the oil company's pockets for just one day, so please do not go to the gas station on May 15th and lets try to put a dent in the Middle Eastern oil industry for at least one day.

Wow... You guys have CHEAP gas prices!! Up here in BC, we only WISH it was that cheap again... You're equivalent to 86.6 cents a liter at 3.29/gallon... We're paying 1.26.4 a liter.. Just shy of 4.90/gallon... It's been over 1.30 a liter, too... Just shy of $5/gallon...

Think YOU got it rough down there? Try running a 4.3l Pathfinder on those prices... Your prices down there, I could drive ALL the time for that kinda price... We haven't seen under a buck a liter in a VERY long time here... The last time we had prices comparable to what you pay NOW was, oh, about 2 years ago or so now...

Thank you NAFTA... We don't import ANY crude here.. We export.. We can supply ourselves... But, 'cos of NAFTA, we can not sell to ourselves less than we sell to you guys...

Thank you again, GWB...

As long as we have a president tied to the oil companies what is the urgency to make companies lower prices. Gas was cheap when Clinton was in office. Not that I cared for the guy.

Wait till the cost of living goes through the roof because the cost to get goods to market will be sky high. When this fawk head gets out of office I bet prices will drop. Until then this is his last ditch effort to pad his retirement.

This country is awesome to a fault.

Not even that,24hrs without fuel purchases would kill oil companies in the ball park of $100-200 million....In one day.

It's not Bush,it's the companies.Blame them, those phucks are the ones screwing americans.Any president is going to screw you regardless....

Yes but if it went further and all stayed home totally. For just 1 day think of the effect of not doing anything. Relaxing. Who could figure the losses. When the New York power outage happened there were large numbers in the lost revenue column. But a total across the country sick out for just one day. Might get the point across that the gas prices are to high. Spending $400. a month to go to work for wages the have not increased as rapidly as the increases in gas, cars, houses, etc. Is like saying Sir we think your making to much money for your family, so your gas cost are being increased, your car that you drive to work will cost your more because parts are higher because of gas prices, your food, food your family has to have, is going up because of higher shipping cost due to higher gas prices, your children's clothes and shoes will cost more because we have to pay more to IMPORT them from say CHINA> CHINA !!!!OH , YEAH by the way did we mention that China is now using more gas because our major car companies, Ford for one, have started car plants in CHINA. The influx in drivers there are really the reason the oil prices are going up. And don't forget INDIA, you know the place your last job got outsourced too. they are making the money you used to get at your last job, yeah the one that was outsourced. Well the guy that has your old job!!! Now has a car!!!! He needs gas also!!! Your friendly WAL-MART that Sam Walton idea of BUY AMERICAN SELL AMERICAN started has CHANGED. It's now buy somewhere else other than AMERICA. CHEAP and sell it in AMERICA HIGH say 10 times our cost. And I just saw on TV last night WAL-MART has about 15 or 16 stores to soon be open in CHINA with plans for 2000 stores. They had to repackage TIDE in plastic bags to be used for hand washing clothes because Chinese people don't use electric washers. OK I went off but I get mad. I knew Sam Walton personally. This was not his intentions, not his idea for his stores or our country.

Very well said JIA's Dad"thumbsup"

Most of you guys are lucky, where I'm at in Illinois the gas prices are $3.55 a gallon and climbing for 87 octane (I've seen a couple for $3.59 the past couple days:-( ) and I think we're among the cheaper areas right now:shock: , as Chicago was supposedly knocking on the door of $4.00 a gallon when I left for work today and Illinois is actually a wee bit pricier than Cali is for average fuel prices according to MSNBC this morning:cry: .

Yeah, this was all over myspace. We did this, and got it rammed in da butt harder. Prices ROSE 30 cents a gallon that night. I'm just glad I bought my truck when I did. Fuel has went down some. Thank god.

i just bought an 05 frontier with the 4.0L and it gets about 18mpg. but this is after driving a 94 s-10 for 7 years that was getting 24-28 mpg. kinda sucks. our prices around eastern CT are about 3.20-3.50 for 87. in lower central mass they are 3.05-3.15. but stupid azz me forgot to fill up yesterday when i was up there
