BB51 k5 build off

You should make up some of the hood stiffeners so you never kink your nice hood 8)
My 1:1 Blazer has a big kink in the hood.:lol::lol:

It's very common on those Chevys Mike. Right in front of the hood hinges the hood bends when you try to close it.

The motor in there is beyond sick. This thing is sweet. I've been trying to decide if the grill swap is worth it or not. I was thinking of an opening hood too.

All that work and you throw in a carb'd V8?? Don't be suprised if you stall out when you get off camber.;-) You're a freaking mad man dude.I love your work, you keep getting better and better....

Are you talking like the under hood support skeleton?

-Mike

My question is after all this work you are going to drive it right?

Mike has driven every rig he's built.

DJ would be correct, or just ask the jersey guys, I am particularly fond of playing submarine with my trucks  so this will be wheeled. I think everyone thought I wasnt going to wheel the Trekker when I finished that... you should see what that looks like now

Great idea mike, how about an update to the trekker thread with current pics? Nothing like seeing an awesome scale rig with real scratches:twisted:

That K5 and the bruiser look, KILLER. Keep up the good work, this has inspired me to go with a k5 body!
Who makes them 1.9"s?
