this was the other day and i really put a few miles on these springs, i removed my rear tracbar and tried to get as much axlewrap and wheel hop as i could. no breakage on the new springs and my trucks pretty heavy. good fun day of crawlin except for the few jillion skeeters who drained a pint from us all. YAY! sorry for the shakes in the video it was my freinds first time filmin crawlers. i promise the next will be better.

that was great! looks like we have a winner. bout time you had some springs that held up.

Mine broke, Darkhorse hooked me up right away though. More testing this weekend.

Your truck sounds mean! Looks scale too."thumbsup"

after watching that video, I can understand how you break so many leafs:shock:, good to see that darkhorse got the springs able to stand up to your driving style, now I know they should work good for mine"thumbsup", 3+3 looks great and works real good for a scaler8)

thansk for the complements on the truck guys, and that chick is my girlfreind. shes the official photo grapher of all my wheeling. Mnster how did you break yours? got pics??

Lasted about 25 minutes:lol:

I think the truck really must need traction bars.

daaaamn man, i second traction bars for you lol. what powerplant did you have? i have a 55t in an r2, maybe i should go for a higher turn for more torque.

im putting mine back on for that reason, i would have probably got up a few of those hills a little easier.

Thats sick. That gives me major hope for my springs too! Lets hear some music in your next vid. Great job though. I need a vid recorder.

Your running bruiser leafs with no shocks right?

I'm running the juggs they seem a bit stiff while yours seem to flex good.

those were the juggs if youre taking to me. they were a bit heavy for my rig so i cycled them ALOT by negatively arching them and then i sanded down the rears because theres no weight there. i also have tlt shocks f/r little to no oil left in em lol. i got a second gen set of springs which seem pretty heavy as well. ive got to do more testing! YAY! lol

great video guys.

Mnster, i know when i drilled out my diaz springs it made them alot weaker and i broke one just flexing it in my hand. i sent darkhorse a high lift spring so he could work out a template for his leafs. maybe he can drill out the leaf so its perfect. i didn't have that luck. i was a little off centered and there is no room for errors. lol

i just recieved a set with my suggested revisions and the spring width has been changed, its now a little wider which would alleviate this kind of problem.

i would NOT like to see a pre drilled leaf because what if your WB is just a little off because of these holes drilled already and you need to go in between, no thanks man.

True. My rear axle sits just about a 1/4" forward on my springs to line up the wheel with the fenders. That would be a bad idea.

im not suggestion he just have one specific set of pre drilled springs but maybe a set specific for say the high lift etc.in my opinion he would sell more if they were pre drilled for certain rigs and also have them available not drilled.
