I got your how to, how to build a tuber. I am going to have to now, I don't have 11 hours to wait on you to paint me another body.

Duct tape can solve almost anything, even a marriage. I love this, I am pretty much ordering and building exactly what you have here. If you do build a tuber, I think you should use the hood from the body. I like the looks of the crowd pleazers and similar.

what is the difference between running a 6, 7, 8 or even 10 cells of the 1500's. also what is better in you mind, nimh or lipo?

You get more wheelspeed and torque with more voltage. With that said I have a 2400 mah 4 cell lipo on the way for this truck courtesy of MaxAmps.com. I also striped it down tonight and made a bastardized GC-1 out of it. Pics later.

I basicaly just used 2 GC-1 sideplates and made my own skin out of UHMW. The tranny is standing up and the cog isn't affected much, but it keeps everything inside the chassis which is already very narrow. The link geometry is a far cry from what Mr Gatekeeper had in mind, I hope he forgives me...... I will try it out today but on paper the geometry is much better than the stock axial. Not to mention the chassis is a full inch narrower. I will have to make an electronics tray, holy crap is this an actual build now?????

Ah it will be ok, thats just proof that post count doesn't always mean you aren't a noob. Anyway I took some time with the electronics layout and neatened things up a bit, just for you Johny.........

I have drivin it alittle bit and my first impression is wow!!! It has far less torque twist than befor and the suspention works allot smoother, the uppers are longer than the ax-10 and they are mounted about 3/16" higher on the axles. That and triangulating the lowers a bit has reduced the axle steer and axle swing considerably. I'm finally getting somewhere. Austin, sorry I butchered your chassis, I'll call it the GC-10............
