Not in any of those photos does that body look like it was ever rolled over.

Run it harder!!

:lol:Yeah....those were from it's first day out with the new body.

I have another one that I'm using and beating up pretty good.(beating up not pictured)

If any company wants to take it upon themselves and promote the sport then by all means let them. If they want to make a cool body then they should start with one that sells well now and just addapt it to our side of the R/C market. One idea would be the ever popular Jeep body with no front fenders and a pinched rear end and no cut out for rear wheel wells, it would let the end user set the body for any wheel base, and lastly a narrow center but not so small you have to "pull" it apart to get it over the frame. But this just my 2 cents worth and the thing don't look that bad just not what were used to seeing."thumbsup"

It is not legal. the rules state: Body must be 3” minimum height on sides. No less than 12.5” total length and full width, and no less than 5” in the center. All bodies should resemble its original form (Jeep bodies look like a Jeep). You will notice the words "FULL WIDTH" your body has been narrowed so it is not full width. I am not picking on you, just clarifying for all you guys getting ideas to narrow your bodies to 5" wide.
Well this fits the Size requirements of the USRCCA rules. And is still over all bigger then both these new Losi and Pro-Line bodies. It's even bigger then the Bug bodies everyone used to run.

I know rules are rules, and I'm not a big fan of trying to bend them, but the Pro-Line is legal, I would think this would be also.

So will this be legal for 2008?

So with these new bodies coming out and the rules changing. Would that be legal. It really doesn't make sense for it to be illegal. It wider, longer, taller then both the so called 1/10th Crawler Bodies from Losi and Pro-Line. It meets every rule but the Full Width part. It meets the measurement part of the Rules which from my understanding thats what we are going by... Correct? I wouldn't make any sense for it to be illegal and the Pro-Line/Losi Crawler Bodies Legal. I would consider that cheating.......

Let me make some tires that say 5in tall on the package, but really are 6.25in Tall... Or buy a RTR Crawler that says 12.5in WheelBase, but really is 14in's.... Buy buy a Super packaged as a 2.2 Crawler....

Ohhh...I see. Send me that one since you seem to be done with it!

I just don't understand. You can take a bug body, cut all the fenders off, bend the hood up, and its legal? I have never seen a VW bug on the trail.

But....I have seen jeeps with their bodies narrowed on the trail.

I wish someone could explain the reasoning behind the rules.

Later,Randy

Just announced, expect them to be in stores end of January knowing the Pro-line release to availability.

I've seen it in person @ Finish Line R/C when I ran into Dirk there and the body is cool. I'd run it. The hood is a little odd, and it isn't scale, but both those descriptions fit my truck, so who cares? I'm just stoked to have another option when I've finally destroyed my old Monster Beetle body that I'm running now.
