Cool build"thumbsup"

Will be interested to see what the total weight is when you are done.
Hope you have a really strong hitch on your pull rig.

Have the odd feeling this trailer and camper will be nothing you take up hill climbs:ror:

Bass wood, balsa, and styrene don't way that much. I imagine the final dead weight of this thing will be close to a pound +/- an oz or two. I would guesstimate it's at 8oz as it sits in the last above picture. As it sits it's very solid. Once I get the interior and exterior paneling on it should be able to take almost everything I throw at it. Or should I say roll at it. Even if it weighed 5lbs I have much confidence in my Dinky RC hitch.

I'll take it on trail runs, but won't comp with it.

Dude I'm impressed! Your attention to the details is great! The flange on the table post, the lip on the table, the hinged seats, awesome!

I would not doubt your hitch at all. I've got a Dinky hitch and my trailer with load is probably pushing 8lbs. Dinky makes his stuff stout! Can't wait to see this thing finished up, should look outstanding!

Thanks for the kind words guys. I have tons of faith in my Dinky hitch. Next for the camper is the kitchen area and bathroom.

I've made a little progress over the weekend. I got the cab-over roughed in and jack stand mounts should I get motivated enough to actually design jack stands. At least there's a way to mount them. I also was working on the bathroom area but pushed a little too hard and broke the wall. Back to the LHS for more wood."thumbsup"

Thanks Jer. Probably not going to make it to any of the remaining comps this year as they're too far away for me. But if there's a nearby GTG I'll see you there.

Progress Update:

I ripped out all of the balsa sheet I used as it was just to fragile of a material for my large fingers. Two steps back and one step forward. All is good though. I figured out what I want to do with the floor and needed the balsa out of the way to get it done anyways. Made up the checker board pattern in Word and now need to laminate it for protection and to make it shiny like linoleum typically is. I also added trim to the table and seats. It's small channel stryene on the edges. I also figured out how I'm going to do the windows. But that's for another update later.

Update: I have made some headway on the kitchen. I have been kind of stressing out about this part. But now that I have started I am happy with how it's coming along. However I still don't know what I'm going to do about the sink, stove, micro, and oven. I've been looking at doll house appliances, but none grab my fancy. So I'll probably end up making something on my own. Anyways, here's a couple of pictures.
