going to try to build a 1/5th scale brushless baja. i would like to try to build as close to scale as possible, with the stuff I have in boxes around the house.

going to start off with the center diff, and rear axle

I cant find the link anymore. I must have had it saved on my old laptop. But yeah the kit that was sold was basically the mounts and everything. Which was setup for 2 mamba monster motors.

you better explain it a little better ,you are going to build a sandrail baja that's why the motor is in the back and it is all going to be built out of steel tube or rod right?

I would think that would be the only way to get a rig that heavy to run worth a crap. My Baja is pretty heavy! The Mamba's are Neu 1515n's I think? It would take 2 to get it done I would think? The single motor......I don't see it going to good?:|

i had that motor in my 41 willy's the car was 23 inches long i posted it in the shootout me and spyderwebb got it up to 59mph on the gps running 2 3 cell lipo's.

the tekin is a 2250kw motor and had good luck with pushing large scale rigs around with it so far. this will be the biggest thing that I have used it in so far for. to answer your question warriorsimi ,. I will use 3/16th rod.

i mean my ss is prob. 22+lb without the motor so this will be interesting.... i personally prefer putting gas in a tank compared to charging a battery.

A Baja is a lot bigger and longer than you car was daddy-0! And getting something to run off a motor and getting it to last with a motor is 2 different things! It's going to take a HUGE motor and 10s+ lipos! Look at this.... http://www.rctech.net/forum/oval-larger-scales-more/252058-brushless-electric-baja-5b-ss.html
