1:6th Ultimate Jeep Wrangler TJ

UPDATE....I Haven't really touched the 1:6 jeep in a few weeks.., Been "Snow wheelin" with my 1.9" Wranglers....But don't worry.. I am going to get started painting the body this week, and hopefully pics will be ready soon.."thumbsup"

are you going to widen the track width at all?

I'd like to widen it by about a 1/2", that will give it a little better stance I think.., I just haven't gotten around to it yet....

What did you use to build that winch? It looks bad a$$.

Hey....Thanks..
"thumbsup" I used a few pieces of styrene card, cut to shape.. some different sized plastic dowels, and a broken spur gear from a Tamiya Pajero XC..!!!!! ( which made for a PERFECT looking winch Heat Sink..!!!!) It took a while to build , and have it look scale, but I think it came out good.... I'm pissed, because I still haven't touched the jeep since my LAST Post..!!!!! There just isn't enough hours in a day..!!!!!!!!!!:roll:

wow all those jeeps look really good. even thoe im not in to jeeps this makes me want to build one.

Nice work! "thumbsup"

Hey - Thanks Guys..!!
"thumbsup"

I still haven't had ANY time to do any more on it as of yet... :-( Way TOO many other projects going on at the moment, so she's sitting on the backburner for now... However, I have had a few other Ideas to make is MORE Scale, and Realistic !! I just gotta find some time to do it all..!!!:lol:

any updates

Honestly....It hasn't been touched in months...I drove it over the winter in the snow a few times, but haven't done anything further than how it looks in these pics..

I've really been concentrating on my 1.9" and 2.2" builds since last fall, BUT I AM Planning on eventually finishing the TJ..!
"thumbsup"

Yeah, I REALLY should get back on building this one..!! I've been in the process of moving recently, and the R/C stuff has been on the back burner..!! The TJ's currently still sitting in the basement covered in dust.., but I still have it....."thumbsup"
