1.9 Beadlock conversion, so easy it's stupid

Nice sketch, I'm not quite sure why some people are having such a hard time grasping this concept. You'd think I was describing how to perform a self-labotomy using tin snips and ritz crackers.

Hopefully it will help.

Ok... so what do you do with the tin snips... and where do I insert the ritz cracker? :?::x did I miss this one from the 2.2 scale section :-(

This tip actually did help a friend of mine who is currently without interweb. I printed it and suggested he try this to allow him to tune his crawler. He was able to add weight, and is running with stock tires and reported that they hold fine. "thumbsup"

Great ideas for building your own beadlocks out of the Losi product!
as far as determining the width goes should I use one of my dads tape measure thingees with all those numbers on it? And which numbers should I make the cut at???

Go play in the urine soaked sandbox, little boy.

Make sure you cut the tape measure just before the 1" mark.

you dont know why a bunch of guys with a RTR toy cant figure out how to make a part??

my best guess is because the part does not come pre packaged and on a rack in a hobby shop or online store..

so any way I tried the white pipe and it works great... you got any suggestions on how to fix a sink drain?

very nice. "thumbsup" So will these fit on my drifter:roll: j/k. some people just should stay RTR:x. but what a great write up.

I used your idea and came up with a fix for my 2.2 8shooter

I turned the outside down to 60mm

Thanks for the write up! I just finished using this method on my MRC. With no foams, the tires now grab so much better than stock.

Great tech tip there rckjeep, this mod helped considerably. Almost have my MRC ready to compete "thumbsup"

Nice how to rckjeep, I did the same thing but drilled the bolt holes thru the rims and used 2/56 button head screws and nuts to really pull the bead locks together."thumbsup"

thank you for the write up great information and good ideas, kinda funny how bad some peoples reading comprehension is. Once again thanks for the tech, it is always appreciated.

So all i need is a hotdog, paper plate, chewing gum and a light bulb.I got this,no worries here.I will report back in few days.Time to order rims.
