So I'm looking to get some new tires for my scx10 with a jeep Cherokee body. I am currently running maxxis trepadors. The trepadors do OK but not how I want. I mainly drive on either sand or rocks. I really like the looks of the tsl boggers but really like the 1.9 mud slinger xls. Only problem is I want the size to be right. What would you guys recommend for tires? I want something around the same size as the trepadors no smaller then ripsaws.

I have very good luck with the falken wild peaks...they do surprisingly well in the dirt/sand and rocks...I was going to switch them out with a more aggressive looking tire but since they worked so well at the last comp I am leaving them on.

yeah have you tried other tires? i thought my maxxis trepadors did great until i tried rip saws and the the rip saws are quiet a bit better.

I know the RC4WD 1.9 IROK are about the same size as what you have now. I haven't used them but I plan to with my next tire purchase.

I've use a boat load of tires and still find the pitbull rock beasts to be the best on the type of stuff I run (loose dirt, packed dirt, rocks, roots). The Proline are pretty damn close as well. I loved the original TSL's but they were a touch short. The TSL XL tires were awesome but looked too big on my rigs.

Maybe this will help. I made this in a 1.9 and 2.2 version.....
