1941 Jeep super scale in 1/6 RTR by RocHobby

Mine arrived yesterday. Had to take the drivers seat out and remove the drivers feet to get my figure to sit nice. Also put a weighted backpack in the passenger seat to even out the weight of the figure. It’s really fun to drive and very capable.

Last night I animated the figures arm and attached them to the steering wheel, looks so sweet with the figure steering :-D

The figure is the MEDIC Special forces figure by KADHOBBY. I bought mine from ebay, but they also sell them on Banggood and many other places. I bought a metal WWII US helmet and US Jacket to make it look more authentic also.

Hi,
there is a new version of the Jeep 1941 now without transmitter and receiver:

ROCHOBBY FMS 1/6 2.4G 2CH 1941 MB SCALER RC Car Waterproof Vehicle Models Fully Proportional Control Without Transmitter Receiver

Small price reduction though. Only around $13 less for no transmitter and receiver. I was hoping it was a bigger discount.

Walter

Tires feel soft with medium/firmish foam inside, I haven't taken one apart to be 100% though.

Firsrt run, very impressed and fun to drive "thumbsup"

Great photos and nice video! "thumbsup"

How's the quality of the plastics of the axles compared to something like the Traxxas TRX-4?

I adjusted the shocks all the way so it carries figures without as much sag. Overall, a nice runner & am impressed with the price. Now if they'd only follow with a 1/6 Schwimmwagon. I've heard rumors one is under development here but its from another manufacturer.

Yes that is my luck as well, as I just bought a Sawback to try and make a scale Willys jeep. This one looks awesome but it is missing leaf springs. Still has my interest and looking for updates.
