1979 f-150 build

That looks like it is a fun build! What is the wheel base on that body, I might look into getting one for my SCX.

Wheelbase is around 11.8'

Im also building a FastbackII sportmans rig ATM, some im gonna off-load my Mayhem Wheels, will probably just run some Black Axial wheels on F-truck now
 
Finally got the F-truck up and running, swapped out ESC for Tekin FXR as well....

Anyway heres some pics..

Im building up a sportsman rig now, so ill just use the F-150 as it sits now for Class-2 Scale...

I wanted i little bit more weight at the rear of my truck so i Re did my wiring ESC placement etc the other day, seems pretty good so far, i think ill make up a bracket to lower box a bit but hey..

Lovin this truck!!! I just got ahold of a beat up 79 body and am workin on puttin it back together and lookin nice. Keep us updated!!!

Thanks mate, After seeing what you did to your Comp Courier"thumbsup" ill been keen to your 79 F-truck when it finished..
 
Ive got BIG plans for it now...bigger than I ever thought actually, just wait! Im collecting the parts for it as we speak.

great truck!!!! I guess I should have taken the HPI body instead for the Proline F-100 body...seems much larger than mine with the exact same tires!
