2 day Trail event for scalers in Marseilles, IL

Ok.. Got my gear all loaded up. Ready to rock! Hope I didn't forget anything!

I'm bringing my brothers Big Heap Toyota as a backup rig"thumbsup"

Gonna see ya'll in the morning! Jason! Maybe I'll see ya!

Woo!

i think ill make it... dunno if ill bother with breakfast, might use that time in the morning to either sleep or pack.

my wraith is done, tinytim is all done besides lights but i dont think that will be important, f350 has liquid etape drying as i post this, hoping it all works when i plug it in and that i dont have to swap the motor out... my only other motor is a pro team 25t handwound that im saving for brushed timmy.

still need to charge lipos and pack. meh. gonna show up just for the day and see if i have the motivation to get a hotel room and do sunday as well.

i will not be bringing 1:1 timmy, although i know im gonna wish i had.

I'll be bringing my jeep. Buts it's not going past the parking lot ;)

why not ? im planning on trying my pos bronco nothing crazy just to get to spots ..is anyone else planning on taking a 1:1 out on the trail or just walking ?

I've kept it pristine. Plus I need to sell it right now due to wife being out of work since nov 2011. I broke my left foot last thur. Medical bills are outrageous. It has no prob going through mild trails but I can't afford to devalue it right now. Wife is the only reason I'm taking it on a 6 hour round trip really.

ya i understand .im selling the bronco also this is like it's last farewell trip ..well here is mine i hope it makes the trip back alive ..

ok, rc's, tools, spare parts, spare charger, boots, sleeping bag, pillow, sleeping pad, tent, 1000' of caution tape, citronella candles, some firewood, beans, sauce pan, hot mitt, toilet paper, 2 flash lights, are sitting by the back door ready to pack in the car.

sausages and beer in the fridge

most lipo's are charged

Now I just need to pack some clothes and move all this stuff to the car "thumbsup"

actually, I should switch wheels on the Rock Rider... it's running the Pit Bulls/Double Fatties and they are way to heavy for the vxl/gearing... I don't know if I have the energy though.

I kind of feel a little sick... like a cold sick.

I'll drive mine on the trail as far as I can. I ran it through most of the park a couple weeks ago but it was dry. Here is it from my last camping trip in TN.

See you ladies tomorrow!

trucks all ready (knock on wood) and lipos charged, had to pick the mud out of the deans and balance ports on almost every one...

i have that big roll of the orange safety ribbon we use for marking the sled pull. flags and tennis balls too.

creek might be a little higher than last time, there was cool stuff i think across the creek going up to the zipline tower thing.

Couldn't sleep well so I left Michigan early. Now I'll be napping in the parking lot of. R place right under the sign. See ya all soon.
