Rock Crawler
Just finished your thread. Just have a couple of questions for you. In the end, what shocks are you using front and rear? Think I read Pro spec buggy rear on the front but not sure about the rear. Second. How is the skin holding up? I'm thinking about grabbing one but am curious how durable it is.

I'm running the Pro Spec short course rear shocks in the rear, and the Pro Spec 1:10 buggy rear shocks in the front. The Pro Spec 1:10 buggy rear shocks are a few mm longer than the short course front shocks. They're the same diameter and same bore size.
The skins are holding up pretty good. I've had a couple of roll overs, and no major damage to the skins. I've not had it on rocks yet to know how well they'll hold up to something like that. The thing is with skins, you gotta keep in mind what they are. Don't get me wrong, they're durable for what they're made of. Bill (BGR) and I wanted this build to be BGR themed, so that's the main reason we decided to do custom skins on it. Plus, you have to team new mounting holes in the stock body panels to mount them on the BGR chassis. So, the skins hide the stock mounting holes in the panels.
If I were going to use aluminum body panels, and it not be BGR themed, I don't know if I would've used skins. If you choose to go with skins on yours, FreQeskins are about the best, in my opinion.
Hope that answers your questions. [emoji1303]
