2005 Competiton event listing....

Since there are now a few organized groups that have formed around the country/world, how about we build a list of each of the events happening for the coming 2005 season?

ORCRC(Oregon RC Rock Crawlers)
PARC(Phoenix Arizona Rock Crawlers)
UTRCRC(Utah RC Rock Crawlers)
Nor-CalRCRC(Northern California RC Rock Crawlers)
VRRC(Victorian Radio Rock Crawlers)
Southern/East Cost groups... names?


Figure that this might take a couple of weeks to build-up but it'd be nice to have a list of events that will be happening for the 2005 season. Figure that we break it up into two 6 month time periods(Jan-June & July-Dec).

So, everyone needs to get in touch with everyone in your group(off-line) and plan out the next 6 months of competitions(Jan-June). Plan out dates and times, locations can be set as a TBA unless you all can set a location this far in advance.

Let's get this put together so people can also plan out family vacations to fit in with competitions... I may be traveling this year

Well I think this is a great idea!

With the new software there is a calender, that allows us to input events on certain dates. Only moderators will have access to add events to the calender, but I'm sure none of them would have a problem adding in an event.

This would make an awsome place to list all of these comps.

BTW the new software should be up and running in the next few days.

The next Green River event is planned out so I could safely list it without confusing to many people :lol:

Go ahead and start listing them here, only list events that you are sure will happen.

Then we'll make it the job of the Comp section moderator to add them to the calender.

Great idea toyo. I will post PARC times and dates here, editing this post only so that this thread doesn't get too long. i will also get together with all the guys and set dates for the next 6 months. All our comps will be set for the first weekend of each month, usually the first sunday of each month. as of 1-15-05:

February 6th, 2005 (this will be more of a fun crawl. we may have a small two stage comp)

May 8th, 2005
June 5th, 2005

Well Me and Kaetwo have sat down and and discused the year and have decided to tentatively shoot for once a month on the second weekend of the month. We have a definate comp on the 19th of Feb in St. George UT.

Now all these dates are tentative. We will be trying to finalize actual dates and places three months in advance. As far as locations we have a few places we will rotate including; Battle creek, Little Moab, Hamburger Hills, Moab, St. George and other...we are always looking.
