2011 Turkey Crawl 4 Kids - LRC Sand Rock, AL Nov. 19-20

Where is everybody? This is a good cause and a great location...

Ryan, I checked and the sunrise that time of year is 5:58, so you may want to think bout moving the course building up a little.
I got a Wraith and looking forward to doing some scaling. Can't wait"thumbsup"

Yeah...really trying to get everyone interested in building the courses there on with plenty of time to spare "thumbsup" We should have enough light by 5:30 or shortly after even though sunrise is around 6am.

Hopefully we'll begin to see a lot more interest after Nationals is over!

I'm going to try to camp out Friday night and be ready to build Saturday morning. I'll help build as many courses as you need.

Anybody have an interest in running a "G6" type scale course? I would need help building one. We ran one for fun at ECC. I think it had 50 or so gates.

Ittybitty, Just let me know how I can help.

Thanks Dan...I just got confirmation on your payment and added you to the driver's list! Helping with the course setup will be great...if you wanna help judge that'd be great too! I'm sure there will be more to do later on but at this point we just need the driver's! "thumbsup"

I'm thinking about heading down Friday as well. Hoping for better weather than ECC.

I will help with the g6! And i am pulling my new pop up camper down with my new 1:1. I am ready for the conditions we had at ECC instead of sleeping in the front seat of a nasty xj.

I put in my request for Friday off from work, waiting for approval now.

What will the schedule be for supers? I have to be back in Knox by 5pm Sunday.

Supers and 1.9s...will meet at 6:30am to build courses and begin running courses by 7:30am. That should get us done by 1-2pm. If we get something like 30 or more in either 1.9 or supers then this might have to be adjusted, but until that happens this is the plan.

I'm really considering coming out this year. I had a great time at ECC at this location but funds are tight. I need to decide between this and Crawlapalooza. I've never been to that location before and its 8hr drive either way. . . as we get closer, I'll see which it is.

We'd love to have you at the Turkey Crawl "thumbsup" Volunteer to help judge and you'll be reimbursed $20 of your entry fee!

Thanks Avid!!!!

Alright, The 1st sponsor has stepped up. Now we just need a few more. Bring it on fellas, (and ladies)!

I would love to see as many sponsors as we had last year or even as many as we had for ECC. That would be killer."thumbsup"

We have a second sponsor as of just a few hours ago! Once again CowRC has stepped up in a HUGE way to support this event. Heath is a great guy to work with and has some great products too. If you've never used or owned a CowRC workmat YOU NEED ONE. It will be one of the best purchases you ever make for working on your RC's without a doubt. They also offer several aerosol products that make cleaning and working on your rigs much easier. Thanks Heath!

Please take a moment to check out the CowRC site...they've probably got something you need! CLICK HERE!
