2013 Goat Hill Scale Team Challenge

I am in and here is what I am running

good to see everyone getting ready !!
ill be checking Goat Hill out this morning,
& see what it looks like after the FLOOD !!
looks like the rain is over finely & things can get to drying down
we may be in for a nice Saturday after all - but with mud !

I wish, Missouri sucks! Just kidding. No, not moving. Just getting out of scaling. Figured I would try to sell some of it before it ends up in the garage with all my nitro stuff.

Ready - Set - GO !!
just got back from GH !!
yes its muddy - yes theres water running down the trails/hill,
& some small water pools around !
but nothing where you need to be "water proof" for,
but being water resistant would be a good Idea !!
having walked around it 3 or 4 time this afternoon,
its not to bad @ all - Ive been in worse.
a good set of mud boots is recommendation
it should get better as it drains off more tonight.
will just to watch your step & make your way around as best as you can !
these conditions should make for the toughest event we had there yet !
now about the parking
looks like there will be on parking around the road in front of the pits,
just way to soft !
so were going to park everyone a-long side the drive down - just past the barn.
pull in as straight as you can,
make as much room as you can for others.
some can park at the top where the drive loops around.
ill have a tow strap in-case anyone gets stuck.
but lets just do our best not to plow up his place !
critters were out in full force - bring bug spray !!!
any wanting to show up there this afternoon LMK !!

please go slow up the entrance drive & in between the houses !!
8.00 am to 10.00 am
sine In's & open course-per runs - in this time frame.
10.00 am - course closed.
10.00 am to 10.15 am
line up rigs for parade of entries photos !
10.15 am drivers meeting
10.30 am GH Team Scale Challenge begins.
everyone needs to have at least one lap run (per class) before the lunch break
12.00 pm
lunch break
1 hour lunch break.
course closed !
1.00 pm - 4.30 pm
re-start & run GHTSC
run your remaining laps you have in this time frame.
4.30 pm course closed
4.35 to 5.00 awards handed out
please remember !
this is privet property were using.
& ken (land owner) hes been nice enough to let the club use this area over & over.
Everyone needs to be on there best behaviour,
so we can keep him happy,
& we can keep coming back there.
the field/parking grass area will be cut down,
but - you may want to bring U some bug spray,
critters & ticks seem kind-a bad this year !

Wish I was going to be out there with you all tomorrow. Take plenty of pics and I look forward to making one soon. Just have to either get off this weekend shift or get some personal time that I can take. August looks pretty definite and maybe sooner if the stars align.
