I've seen countless posts videos and comments about this. But no actual results. This angers me. I had to drill into the gearbox but it works perfectly. And it was not difficult by any means. And pictures are up on my instagram under the hashtag #rs1045t so you can see it.

are these 540 size motors? or 370-390 motors like the stock ones?

i ran the $10 RC4WD 45t sealed cans on mine for a couple years. i had them mounted on the old "Big Boy" kits, back when they were available. but many guys have drilled out they're own cases to fit 540's just fine. I found the 45t in this size to be near identical to the stockers for speed, but a whopping boat load more torque!

RCcrawler doesn't "host" pictures. You need to post them somewhere else on the interwebs, then copy the link into your post to get them to show up. I use "photobucket.com" to post and store pictures. But there are many other places to do this.

rc crawler does host pictures,
you have to go advanced for the reply and in there is a section to upload pictures
been doing it for years. it is under file attachments.
