You are basically just setting a typical 3 postition switch. You can use any of the setups for mechanical dig, VF/DNA, R2, Losi, etc.

Go to the Dial menu
Set DT1 (or DT2 or DT3) to read Ch 3: 100 / Nor
That will setup your switches as 3 position switch

Let me know if you need more help "thumbsup"

and BTW, you should ditch the punk and get another ESC!

two esc's are going in the new rockshow"thumbsup"just waiting for the last one to come in the mail... ill eventually have two in my current berg, but ive got to set up the punk dig for the comp this weekend.

how do i set up PS2 for the front dig and PS1 for the rear dig?? I know Austin has his setup that way, but hes running dual esc's....

You can ONLY do it with dual ESC's as each button is toggling a Mix on and off. You can't do it with a Punk.

Are you sure? You would have to set PS1 for rear on or off (2 positions) and PS2 for front on or off. It has to be possible.

I have my VP dig set to run off DT3 for when I need the freewheel, or I can hit PS1 to go straight into lock and avoid tapping DT3 twice. Works great.

I would love to prove you wrong, but I doubt I can. You are the master here :ror:

You can use it to activate but not deactivate, as when you deactivate it will go to the opposite extreme. If I am wrong...........I would be surprised :ror: The problem is that the 4WD postition with the punk is in the center.

In a shafty it isn't a bad deal because you can 4wd is one way and dig is the other, so you would only need the DT# for freewheel (like you said).

Gotcha Master. Didn't know the Punk switch worked that way. You win

ok, berg is setup and running perfectly with the exception of one thing....the carb cuts out on it:ror:

the throttle (and reverse) were really sensitive so i went to the THEXP and started tinkering with that to make it milder. its perfect until your in a position to go forward and rev really fast...sounds like the carb is cutting out and it sputters. sometimes it will glitch so bad it stalls and runs in the opposite direction:shock: any suggestions?

Your running a single FXR correct? Do you have a hotwire? You need to update the FXR to the latest firmware release. You will not believe the difference trust me, it is like a whole new ESC. It makes the FXR feel almost as smooth as a Mamba Max. If you don't have a Hotwire, get one. Then dial your EXPO back out.

yes single FXR. i have the "030" version. which throttle and brake profile do you use? both of mine are on 3...

ok, i changed the throttle and brake profile to 2 and thats 10x better. it still glitches under heavy fwd/rev throttle usage. motors are fairly new 35t warrior R's.

I am trying to think of what else it could be and I am coming up blank. I would confirm both motors are set at zero advance timing just to make sure. When you figure it out let me know, I am curious!
