719 Scale RC 4x4 Thread/Trail Runs/Rigs etc..

Well before it starts accumulating snow in the canyon, I would like to have a trail run in Cheyenne Canyon. This Sunday if your down we'll meet at the foot of the canyon @ 930...the canyon gets busy this time of year. There will be water but you can drive smart and avoid the deep stuff. Hope to have a couple Ascenders out along with some truggies and possibly a D90 ( Barney).....so let's enjoy the last bit of fall color in out beautiful backyard canyon. See ya there.... 2110 N Cheyenne Canyon Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80906

Sorry I've been absent these last couple of weeks guys. Been really motivated on getting a new 1:1. So I've been saving my pennies all towards that haha. Need to get out soon though.

Sorry I've been out of the loop as well (again), but I have my man cave finally sorted so I have been locked away tinking lol. Firstly, I wanted to address a concern voiced by another member (Tater perhaps? I can't remember) of there simply NOT being enough purple around here. So that was fixed with my slowly progressing CC-01 based Bowler Wildcat D90 Baja Rig thing

And second, I keep getting ideas for this... Thing, I've come up with for my class two rig. It started as (soon to be) Asia Tees D90 chassis set, RC4WD: T-rex 60 Alum axles, R2 Transmission mounted in forward motor config, Gelande II Skidplate and Triton Transfer Case... And now a Tube back fits too... Lemmie see if I have any more RC4WD Parts laying around to throw at this thing...

Lol don't feel bad I have been out for awhile as well. Purple.... I have nothing to say about this I haven't said before lol. It's all about red and the shades of it. :)

After staying in active for some time last night I un buried the crawler and missed the Sunday crawls so figured why not test the water again. Nothing has changed on the crawler except body damage, after having it tore down I went threw everything, swapped in a new axle housing and greased everything back up, and set up my steering different than I had before. Last night started the exo cage and bumper and ditched the winch. But my main focus as been on the cherokee, I recently had my stock rear axle grenade, and the build started there. I stretched my rear 1 ton axle back a few inches and re located the shackles so I can run a 38"+ tires, I'm waiting on my coilover shocks to get here so I can start building my full width dana 44, I also picked up a bone stock chevy 350 to take the place of the 4.0. A little more extreme then I had planned on in the beginning but figured it might be a little cool when it's finished hopefully by next spring, I recently got a Lincoln 180 and have been hand fabbing most parts on it.
