8 channels receiver for NB4

I don't have the cev04 setup on my Noble, but switching between models on mine doesn't effect the standard rx settings for me.

I’m running a trx6 and 5 channels the 5 channel is on the ibus, I go over and run my umg10, come back to trx6 and my 2 speed doesn’t work, that’s the 5th Chanel have had to rebound and set twice, now I don’t wanna swap over again

I have noticed that if you switch models and you have more then 4 channels the channels 5-8 don't work at all unless you turn on the transmitter, select your model and then shut off the transmitter and then turn it back on. Don't turn on the receiver. Works every time for me since iv done it that way.

Flysky released a proper 8 channel receiver for the noble the fgr8b. It is almost the same foot print as the old 3 channel receivers, just a hair bit taller. It comes with a wire to send your pack voltage to your transmitter. That does require a firmware update which wipes out your models. I think there is a program to download your settings beforehand but I didn't see it until it was to late. The update seems to fix the problem with channels 5-8 not working when switching from a different model.
