Adopt a newbie todaayy!!!

I have a Airtronics M11. I found some setup instructions somewhere on this forum and it works great! I get front and rear dig buttons, variable forward/rear clodstall eliminator and option for 4ws.

WTF??? Dude, where did you find out how to run duals on an m11??? I love my m11 and can't for the life of me mix dual esc's with it, I can mix all the brakes I want but even the airtronics tech guy told me it can't be done!!! If it can be done why the hell did I just order a dx6i??LOL:oops:

I think this was it link.

I tweeked it a little so that I can use the dial for trimming the amount of mixing. That way I can dial power forward/aft.

hey i wanna go to a tubber on a ax 10 but i run a 7 cell bat. with the hump will the edge one fit or any thing dif. thanks :)

I have a edge tuber for ax10 I dont want anymore...let me know what measurments you want from it, it's not attatched to anything now...Ummm, i think this is a Berg thread, PM me.

You just need to remember, they are 2/3 amp cells. So you will need to charge them on less than an amp. If you only have a charger that can charge 2-4 amp I advise to either get a new charger, or try to find a different battery. They will take a 2 amp maybe 4 times, then start popping, and soon they get HOT... and start smoking... and quit on you in the middle of a comp while your doing really good :mrgreen:"thumbsup"

does anyone know how to build an "axle sitter" battery out of a regular 7.2 6-cell?

its REALLY hard because the cells are so big, but you can try. Did this about a year ago:

and also, the steering servo on my rtc is WAY underpowered, anyone have a capable servo that can run off a Nicd setup?

I'm going to recommend a Hobbico CS-170. http://www.tcscrawlers.com/CS-170-T...ith-Universal-Connector-HCAM0316-p-17133.html

They are a little more expensive but are well worth the money. I have been running 2 of them for the last 18 months without problem.

I have wasted more money on servos than anything else. In a years time I went through 2 Hitec 5645's, 1 JR ST125MG, and 4 Towar Pro 995's. If you plan on staying in this hobby for a while or competing go ahead and spend the money now or you will regret it.

Yeah, having a good servo is definetly a thing that will help you tremendously. Im so used to running the crappy stuff in comps that driving my berg with something like my HS-5955 which is basically the CS-170 (The 5955 is discontinued) Is SO amazing! I absolutley love hearing my berg knuckles hit my axle case

Couple of serious noob Q's:

1. What is the difference between (or definition of) "comp rig" vs "basher"? It seems clear enough and I *think* I know, but you know what they say happens when you assume...

2. If one was to add both a front and rear dig to, say, an ax10, would one require a 4 channel radio? Or is there a way to make it work with just 3 channels?

Thanks.
\oo/_  _\oo/

A comp rig is a rig designed to compete against other people/ rigs. A basher is just something you build that doesnt really have any kind of meaning, you just built it to have fun with.

You do not need a 4ch radio for an ax-10 dig. you can just use a 3ch radio with a 2 position switch "thumbsup"
