Hot racing makes some metal lower link mounts.
Might as well upgrade if you gotta buy something. :)

Thanks, out of stock at rpp :( . still need to contact my lhs...

Got the chassis completed this evening, minus that small part. Next the rear axle.

I took her out today, no pics, because I forgot my phone...rrrrr
Anyway the twin fared better than I on the slippery climbs in a combo of mud water and snow. Had a lot of fut today.

Wow its been a while,

Update....

The wife and I are on vacation, we brought both Twins down to Ca. with us.
I got to drive mine for the first time on vacation and let my nephew drive it as well.
We built a little plywood 5"jump
He drove in low gear only and crashed into the curb at full speed a couple of times. No damage. I got my hands on it and bashed for a while on concrete and asphalt, wore the tires quite a bit and blew a bead off the front wheel.

Remember locked front and rear

So I think I am in the process of killing my internal bec...
So castle to the rescue. I have a castle bec sitting in a drawer at home.

Next the stock steering is starting to get sloppy and bind, so I am going to see what I have in parts bins to use. I am pretty sure I have some traxxas slash 4x4 aluminum belcranks sitting in a parts bin somewhere.

I am also thinking of mounting up a truck body on this rig and ditching the cage.... This one might be a ways off though.
