Only posts I found were complaining about prices. I am after a set of scx axles for an 8x8 build and they have front/rear stock pairs for $85 shipped which seemed fair. But I wanted to make sure its a legit company and all first.

I have bought from them via Ebay before and had good luck with what I got. Prices are high for a lot of things but they also have a huge amount of stuff.

Yes, I have ordered a few thing from them. Their prices are higher on somethings but for what I bought the shipping was free and fast.

He's also got a RCC name, but I can't remember what it is.

Find the same item on their site and it's always a couple bucks cheaper. I ordered an mip shaft from them a while back.

I have ordered from RC Recycler without any issues also. It was off of ebay.

I have talked to the guy, seems ok dude. his pricing is just below retail cost on most things
but the shipping is free and he does take things back if you are not satisfied. he will also work with you
if you if you are looking for something not listed, he has a lot more stock than what is shown.

he also recycles electronic equipment, so he is not a fly-by-nighter

I havnt ever bought anything from rc recycler but i have ordered wraith axles from rpp hobby's salvage yard. I am very pleased with them they come brand new exactly as described and ship fast. :)

rpp sells a front & rear axle kit new for cheaper than rc recyclers used axles.

Yup they are out of stock but you can have them email you when they are back in stock.

i find that his used prices are the same as new. that being said, they have alot of things that have been discontinued or are just hard to find so i have placed 7 or 8 different orders with them and i have gotten fast and prompt answers to my emails every time and normally get a tracking number within 1 business day of my order. if i remember correctly they even take returns on ebay.

My office is about 10 mins from their shop, so I stop by periodically to pick up odds and ends. They're legit and good folks. I find their prices on used stuff are usually pretty good, but not so much with their new take-offs (those tend to be priced right around retail) or pre-painted hardbodies in good condition (overseas buyers drive up the prices for those). They bench test their used stuff (including electronics), which is a plus. They are usually very accurate with their descriptions and photos, so read and look carefully at the description and pix of the particular item you're looking for. I have never been disappointed in condition in person vs what I saw posted online, and I've had good experiences with the used stuff I've gotten from them (a couple of servos, a winch, axles, shocks, etc). So if you read carefully and you've compared prices elsewhere, you should be able to buy with confidence from them. Hope that helps...

Always super fast shipping and items exactly as described in my dealings with them. Some things are waaaaay over priced, and others are quite reasonable, just depends on what you're looking for at the time.

I ordered a Tamiya CC01 axle housing June 1st and it arrived today June 3rd. That is SUPER important to me when it comes to RC vendors in general but especially on eBay. Some of the GIANT sellers on eBay have 2 day handling. That's 2 BUSINESS days which means the part I ordered Saturday on the 30th from FalconHobby did not even get a label printed until Tuesday evening which really pissed me off. I've bought a fair number of things from RC Recycler and always immediate processing and shipment and fast arrival. That will always keep me coming back. People that use their "2 business day" BS to drag ass and make me wait will not get return business.

Keep in mind as well that most shipping delays are from the shipper and not the shipping company.

IMO the time between the order and the ship date is part of customer service. I value this personally more than pricing, within reason. Regardless of the total sum of what I paid, when I pay for a service I expect it to be delivered in a reasonable time frame. If you, as a company are organized well and have the sense to realize how important customer service is you'll at minimum provide regular, timely updates on the product.

I also work in a "customer service" industry where my only "customers" are internal. I provide top notch service and demand the same.

That being said. In a long, drawn out post. I've bought from RC Recycler and will continue to do so in the future.

I think I had bought a wraith tranny from him on ebay once and all was good. A few years ago I sold some tires/wheels on here and a week later he had them listed on ebay.
