wanting to see complete portal axle swaps that are metal

anyone gone with this or something simmilar? : https://www.ebay.com/itm/CNC-Machin...8:g:BusAAOSwMKxcF2zb:rk:2:pf:1&frcectupt=true

i was going to order the ssd portal covers to get some extra weight down low but for a little bit more money im looking at metal portal axle swaps. are these worth it? complete all metal axles?

i'm wanting to see what others have gone with i dont mind spending more money if the fit and finish is good.

Plastic slides over rocks better than metal.. Go with the brass portal covers In my opinion.

WAY over priced! Buy a pair of Yeah Racing aluminum housings for around $50 and add the metal portal bits of your choice.

I went with the "generic" metal parts and assembled mine. You can get the main housings on eBay for less than $20 ea. and all of the other pieces are pretty reasonable too. Then you can go with portal covers as heavy as you want. I like 'em because it let me add weight without stuffing the wheels full and they're stiffer and stronger than stock. I also went with the c-hubs that have the shock mounts built in. Watch out for the heavy knuckles, the ones I got limited the steering too much, so I swapped them back to modified stock ones for now. They really improved my trucks performance and I'm happy with them.
But I'm no expert. :)
