Just wondering if anyone out there has had success purchasing anything from this website?
I haven't received a invoice or any shipping information on my order so I am slightly concerned.

I have not, but looks very scammy to me.

SSD doesn't even sell directly from their website. So I kind of think they likely don't have an outlet site that does.

The outlet site also claims they have over 350,000 parts in stock to give you the lowest price. I can't imagine SSD sell that many of anything, unless they are counting every last screw as a separate item.

Here's the SSD website I'm familiar with
SSD rc website

Yeah, I am familiar with that one too.
I just came across this site searching the web. Thinking it might be to good to be true I chanced an order anyway. You can't get Trail Kings anymore and they claim to have inventory.

I emailed SSD to see if they're a legit vendor. 🤷‍♂️
definitely a scam ... there has been a couple similar sites pop up once in a while. Hope you get a response from SSD he used to come by and comment here but it's been a long while and we need answers regarding Trail King V2!!! I saw that he made some new wheels not long ago.

So I looked over the site further, there is no phone number to phone even though they say to call during XYZ time.
I went into my PayPal to dispute the charge but there is apparently no transaction there even though I have emails from PayPal with authorization numbers and what not.

Very strange.

I guess my only recourse is contacting my bank. I feel like an idiot. 🤦🏼‍♂️

I used two step so I never entered my actual password, it sent me a text with a six digit code.

The individual adjusted the amount by 12.50 usd for what I assumed was additional shipping.

What's really weird is none of it shows in my PayPal as transactions.

When I use 2 step authentication on PayPal I still put in my password, then it asks where to send the code, then it texts the 6 digit code for the second factor authentication.

But I do not store any financial type passwords on my computer, phone or Google password manager, etc.

If you do use the auto fill password manager, your browser or phone inserts the password into the request for it automatically sometimes. So it could be obtained that way.

The 2 factor authentication should help but I'd still change my password.

Did you see the money removed from your account or on your credit card transactions?

Unfortunately, using a credit card is safer as they will just cancel the transaction and the merchant won't be paid. If it's your bank account the bank often says too bad for you.

I also have a small separate account that I use for PayPal funding so if someone does gain access and they drain my account they hopefully only get the one account with little money in it, not the others with more.

That said, I still just feel lucky that I haven't had problems.

Good luck.
