Are There Moderators In This Forum??

Im a member of RcSparks as well but I became more active here because I can be me and not have to edit myself and one of my close friends was banned because of a miss understanding. I only go on there now just to keep my builds up to date and the Spinties thread. The mods on here do a good job keeping all the BS and spam post cleared off here. So imho if you don't like the language then don't come on here.

When I'm in Houston I always ask for the TD or the Amber and I get stupid looks. Then I'll ask for a Shiner since a blind man can find one of those there.

Sounds like you need to find smarter beer wenches."thumbsup"

BTW, next time, try some of the local stuff. Plenty of great breweries in Houston. Leave the Shiner for the yuppies....

On the extremely rare time that I order a beer you know what every single place has had? That's right, coors motherfawking light. :flipoff:

It's just at the airport on connecting flights back to MSY. There I can get Abita on tap, but I drive home from there. So when I'm leaving N.O. I usually have enough in my belly to hear it sloshing around.

How'd they get any Turbodog that far north? It's barely past I10 down here. Doesn't make it to TX or to AL either.

We get quite a few Abita beers this way. Keep in mind I'm on the coast in a tourist trap - Myrtle Beach general area....

I'm always searching for the Canadian stuff......Sleeman, Alexander Keith and such. I have friends who bring it back sometimes.

They must skip over us then. It's rare to find it in the stores but it's getting more common than it used to be. I'm 1.5 hours drive north of the brewery. My brother lived in Abita Springs and worked across the lake in N.O. for a couple of years before heading to Austin chasing money.

No we don't. Funny. My friend makes trips south to get those things. They ain't all that, but pretty good.

light beer is for the buzzards. hard dark beer is for the sick and twisted like me.

I probably couldn't even get a buzz off of 6 coors.
