Houston holds an Art Car Parade every year and the family and I decided to go this year. They had something like 300 cars and I dont know how many bikes/scooters/motorcycles. We were having such a blast that I forgot to take any pictures, but I thought I'd show some of the favorites and more interesting cars that we saw.

(The museum for this is near my house)

Anyway, if any of you are ever in this city during this time of year, you should check out the parade....it is quite fun! "thumbsup"

I like the crapper car and the demon/gargoyle one the best! I forgot that was going on, will have to take the family one year. I am sure the boy loved it!

Very cool, though a few of those look more like junk wagons than "art cars"

+1 on the crapper car! no more holding it in traffic :lmao:

I don't need a parade I work in down town Oakland CA these kind of cars are common all over the place lol but looks fun!!

That guy was pretty cool. We were standing near the judging station and he had to wait for a few minutes so we talked to him...

Yeah, you'll see some of these around town from time to time, but for the most part, the cool ones arent street legal....

I need the crapper car. That way I wouldn't have to find a place when the urge strikes.

Looks like a few of them have stepped it up, I remember it used to be crappy civics with broken cd's glued to them. Cool pics Jeremy! "thumbsup"

Yeah, some of them just have junk glued to them....but the small wooden one was accompanied by a full size, completely wooden bodied truck with some pretty cool hydraulics. It had three piece doors that opened up like a spaceship or something!
