Ascender in Honduras

Are those butt connectors I see going to the motor?

 temporary yep, i am waiting on some 12awg wire to complete the esc/motor wiring.

Ok, but much better to get them soldered up instead, those would never last one run with a powerful motor...you'd have smoke and maybe fire.

LEDs are off to a good start, are you doing rock lights too? Mmmmm....two-speed tranny, git r dun. "thumbsup"

oooh, you are referring to the stock unit? yes i know it only needs a couple of parts to make it into a 2 speed, around $60 i think in parts, the thing is i got a great deal on my 2 speed for only $40, and get to keep the single speed for another project.

so i got to use some cheap beadlocks i had laying around, trying to figure out what style of good wheels to get, so i mounted these up and they don't look horrible, what do you guys think?

Look close to the soft 8 design. I'd personally have to paint them black, other than that not bad.

Looks good to me how they are, or maybe paint them matching metallic blue? Grey or gun metal grey would be cool.

So every few months i get time to work on any given rig, this due to 12 hour work days:roll:, i finally got the tranny working perfectly with a nice hitec mini sevo, pics later;-).
i have a question, does anyone have a 2 speed mounted upfront? how is the space to mount the body an interiror if you have such a setup?
