Awesome fish tanks?

Wow dude. Petted a fish! lol Thats sweet!

No kidding you I had a red belly piraña that loved having his side scratch. If you feed them often they aren't aggressive at all. I raised them from very small to full grown and bred them for years. They knew me well.

Wow, now thats crazy/awesome right there. I want to pet a fish. haha.

I used to have a jack dempsy and an Oscar , one night I put in a small crab and turned off the lights to go to sleep. All off a sudden I hear the water splash like crazy, by the time I turned on the light only the bottom part of the crab was I'm the tank. The jack dempsy had a huge chunk in his mouth and the Oscar was nibbling at the pieces floating around. Very cool fish man, I put a tank seperator in between them otherwise it was a constant battle. The jack dempsy was more aggressive than my Oscar, but I hear it is normally the other way around. I eventually gave them to my local pet store because I was moving, kind of regret getting rid of my dempsy, he had an awesome green blue hue.

Oscars are col fish to have I have had a few over the years. I would strongly stay from feeding them feeders. If you do feed the other fish use white clouds or guppies. goldfish (feeders) often care sickness. My oscars fav treat was frozen beef heart you can buy it at most pet stores.

Awesome!! Never heard of a Albino one. The one I want is a Lepord. Those are my favorite My science teacher has one and thats how I found out about them.

Here is what my teacher's looks like. This is not the one, but close to the pattern on it.

I use to have a 120gallon fully loaded coral reef tank. I would buy large coral colonies and cut them up and sell them. My buddy does that as his business now. He has a 600gallon in wall reef tank, and 4 12x4x2 fiberglass troughs that he grows corals in, plus a 400 gallon tomato bin as well. Love saltwater, although had ciclids at one point a long time ago. With kids, work and kids activities, i didn't have time to really spend working on it, so I sold it all and got out. Its also expensive. I had these three little pencil eraser sized coral polyps, that I paid $300 for. They were $100 a piece because they were rare. Well I grew the 3 into a mother colony of 30, in about 6 months. When I got out I sold that colony by itself for a grand. I had sold several off the mother prior for $75 a piece too. :)

ha! My other hobby!
I actually am a partner in a coral greenhouse here locally. No artificial lighting needed! We control the temp. of the light with different tarps.

Here are some older pics...
